The rooms are clean, and the residents are always well kept when I arrive for a visit. I think the staff is very responsive and always keeps me informed of my family's change in healthcare status. The staff is friendly and kind. I love the social activities that are planned for the residents and even the events that incorporate the families. I have had many family members here and have always felt comfortable and felt that they were safe and well cared for.

Bad experience, do not send a loved one here. My mother developed multiple pressure ulcers (bedsores) while under skilled nursing care. One night she spent hours yelling for help, and no one came. Physical Therapy staff was uncommitted and communicated poorly. Food was bland and unappealing, and they forgot to bring it to her on several occasions. Some staff were genuinely compassionate and caring, but overall this was a terrible mistake.

The Campus of Anna Maria of Aurora is one of the two best memory care units that I saw within 10 miles of my house. They provide true memory care. The only drawback was that the rooms were so small that only one bed/single bed can go in there. My in-law would have to sleep in two separate rooms, which we didn't prefer. On the end of the building, they just built four brand new one-bedroom apartments, where it can handle a husband and a wife, plus you've got an extra bedroom (not just a studio, but an actual extra bedroom).

My wife is in Anna Maria assisted living and it's good. Her apartment looks good. The staff is good and my wife likes them and is satisfied. The food is good and affordable; not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. They have different games like bingo and cards.

My mom was at Anna Maria of Aurora. It was a good location, but it was expensive, and she did not like the meal plan. They did not have a calendar of activities, and I didn't see many activities there.

My parents have been at Anna Maria of Aurora since September. My mom is at the senior living section and my father is at the nursing home section. The people that are there are nice and they are very supportive, but I think if they have more people, it would be better.

I really like Anna Maria of Aurora. I liked that it was very homey; it wasn't aesthetic at all, just sort of down-to-earth and homey. My aunt thinks the food is great. They are trying to get her more involved because she just stays in her room, but there is a lot to do, and the activity director goes and gets her for a lot of the activities, so they are trying to pull her in. She has a one-bedroom apartment, and it is very nice. She is very happy there. It is all that I thought it would be.

My parents are in Anna Maria. It's a combination, and they have everything from skilled nursing to independent living. Our experience is quite positive. It is a family owned facility. It is quite personal and caring. The quality of the facility is high. They provide a variety of activities. They have an activities director for the assisted living and independent living people. For independent, they have external event that people can go to or be bused to.They have dining room facilities for different levels. I find the staff very well skilled people. They are friendly and caring; that's one of the reasons why my parents are there.

My impression of Anna Maria is that it’s very nice. I would consider that place. The staff is very pleasant and very cooperative. The accommodations were wonderful.

We're on the waiting list at Anna Maria. It is an older facility that they re-did, and they are doing a brand new additional opening up this summer. The staff was wonderful. They had a full nursing staff, a doctor on call, and all kinds of amenities. They had three meals a day. We haven't eaten there, but we went to the dining room and looked at the menu. The menu was something we could go along with, and if you weren't happy, they would change it to whatever you ordered. They had a workout room and a van to take you to doctor's appointments.

My mom used to stay at Anna Maria of Aurora which we had chosen because it was close to home. The staff and food was good, but the cleanliness of the place is not good and there was no space at all. She had to live with somebody else. They had activities.

Anna Maria has improved drastically from the days I first remember it. Some ten plus years ago I use to sing in a children's choir to the elderly people. It seemed many were ignored and not taken care of. In recent years the condition of the rooms has improved. A neighbor friend of ours lived in what seemed to be a cold and unfriendly hospital like room for several years; however my grandmother has lived in very nice 1-bedroom apartment style rooms (first in independent care and now in assisted living). I was surprised to see that the quality of the room in assisted living was much the same as the independent care room. The only real difference is that the room is closer to the dining hall and the floor plan is flipped from her original. My mother has grown to really like the staff at the facility. They are attentive to the needs of my grandmother and the family. Oh, I might also add that my grandmother LOVES getting her hair done there, she thinks the stylist is just great. She also is always busy with activities in the facility which is pretty impressive when you are well into your 90's.

I was very impressed by the staff, they were very welcoming and professional. They seemed like they took their jobs seriously and had a calling to do this type of work. I've been to other places where the staff does not care at all and you can tell it is just a job that they'd rather not do. The facilities are modern and clean and appear to have been built fairly recently. It is in a very safe area of the greater Cleveland metropolitan footprint. I would not worry about crime or safety in this area at all. There are a lot of medical people about, plus other nice things like a barber shop and really nice views of woods. They even had church services. The staff said that a person living there can go on a type of field trip as well with staff, to see movies, go shopping or go to parades or concerts. The have some social activities with other people living there as well.
