My mom has moved into Maple View Memory Care. I knew from the first minute I met with Becca, the resident manager. She was very informative and very caring. I love that they have activities all day long, that means a lot. If my mom can be kept busy, then she'll sleep better at night. That's the real reason why I chose them, because of the activity list. My mom has been there a few days, but I've gotten two calls. I'm very happy, and I rate it as high as I can. They offer all different kinds of activities, between music, exercise, and memory games. They bring in live music twice a week. The facilities are beautiful. The rooms are nice sized. They have a sunroom on either end, that's beautiful. They have a great room, and then they have a walking path out back.

I find Maple View Memory Care to be a great facility. My sister and I toured it. The staff was unbelievable. The residents looked like they were always engaged with an employee or with each other. We liked it. The rooms have a bathroom, but they had to be taken somewhere else for the shower so they can be assisted by the staff, which I think was good. Some residents were playing with balloons and some were playing cards when we were there.

Maple View Memory Care was a very nice place. I was very impressed with the people that worked there. They were very kind and caring. Everybody was so nice. I was also very impressed with their rooms. It was very spacious and the sun was shining in the rooms, which made it very nice. In the afternoon, they had things going on for the residents. There was a nurse or a CNA that had a cart full of snacks, coffee, and juices. They had nice family rooms for families who come and visit. They had a very nice courtyard, too, with nice outdoor chairs, tables, and flower gardens. So, they had everything we were looking for.

We visited Maple View Memory Care. My sister and I both went there and toured it. It's a beautiful place for someone with a little bit of dementia. Other than that, it's not appropriate for someone who needs a higher level of care. They don't take people with them who are wheelchair bound. It was a small facility; I can't remember exactly, but I think there were around twenty-four patients. It was very small, they had two sides, and they had a community room. The center was clean, and the patients seemed well attended to. They have a nice little courtyard. The rooms are nice; they are all private rooms. They each had their own little bathrooms with them. It was very well laid out on one level. They're fairly large and adequate. If my dad just had memory problems, it would be ideal for him. But if you need a higher level of care, they don't do that. The person who gave us the tour said she had just gotten that position, but she seemed to know a lot about the facility. They were relatively new; I don't think they had been there but for a couple of years. I didn't see their food. The dining area is a large communal area where they serve the food, because it was relatively a small population. There were maybe twenty-four residents at the most, so it's relatively small.

Maple View Memory Care was OK, but it was not what I was looking for. The place itself was fine, but they didn't have showers in their units, and they didn't have individual apartments that were complete with everything. They just had a sleeping room with a bedroom. It's basically just one room with a bathroom attached; everything else is separate. Like they have to go down to a separate room to shower and I don't want that at all. Their meals are all in a big room and there's a lot of noise there that would bother my aunt a lot. The person I was supposed to meet wasn't even there, but the staff member who gave me the tour was nice. For what they have, the community is very nice and clean.

Maple View Memory Care was a very nice place. I was impressed with them and I liked it. The rooms were very nice, very light, bright, and had nice setups. They actually had a lot of activities. They play with beach balls, they do a lot of card games, bingo, and puzzles. The staff interacted with the residents very well. In fact they took my mom and showed her around the place. The nurses were very nice. They had a lot of people on their staff, they're always around, and they knew everybody's names.

I had a nice tour at Maple View Memory Care, and the representative from the community that I met and talked to gave me an informational packet. She was very informative and very pleasant. We looked at the dining area, and the food choices were fine. The menu was nice for that type of stay, which was the memory care. I have observed some of the residents playing cards, visiting and watching TV. You need to go visit this place if your parent is in need of memory care.

We have visited The Maple View. It’s assisted living, but it’s specifically for memory patients. Everything seemed to be extremely positive there. The staff was very nice. The rooms were extremely large and pleasant with enough room for a small couch, a chair, dresser, and a nice, private bathroom. They did home-cooked meals there. They had one of the Jacuzzi-type things for helping with bed sores.
