My sister-in-law moved today into Heritage Place Memory Care. It was clean, neat, and everybody was nice. It just looked better than the one we had been in. They furnished everything, we didn't have to move anything except our clothes. They had a bed stand, television, and chest. They provide three meals a day. The staff were very friendly and professional. They've got singing, bingo and all the usual things most places have. They've got outdoor space, an area with chairs, like a pergola, that's half-shaded.

Whether it's a peaceful walk around our facility or some place comfortable to sit and enjoy their day. Please come by and visit our facility and see for yourself. MEDICATION MANAGEMENT:
For the elderly, especially those who suffer chronic conditions that require multiple medicines, managing prescriptions alone can be extremely difficult. Memory care facilities are designed to provide assistance with activities of daily living, including medication management. Family members and caregivers can also help their loved ones by keeping track of their medications and making sure they're taken at the right time and in the correct dosage. In addition, many pharmacies offer services such as automatic refills and home delivery to make managing prescriptions easier. By working together, we can help ensure that our elderly loved ones stay healthy and safe.
FULL SOCIAL CALENDAR:
We can help to provide the mental and social stimulation that is so important for someone dealing with an Alzheimer's diagnosis. Memory Care Facilities offer a variety of activities and programs specifically designed to help people with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia remain engaged and active. These activities can include everything from art and music therapy to exercise classes and social outings.
TRANSPORTATION:
Memory care facilities typically have more staff than other types of senior living communities, as well as higher staff-to-resident ratios and more secured environments. We offer transportation services to enable residents to remain active and engaged in their communities. Transportation services may include medical appointments or even emergencies, grocery shopping, and social activities.

Heritage Place Memory Care was a definite no. The grass on the grounds was high. It wasn't taken care of. It wasn't as clean as I'd like it to be. The rooms were rather small. The people were pleasant and very helpful. The facility needs a little bit of tender loving care. It's a locked-down unit.

My father has been staying at Heritage Place Memory Care. The best part about it is the staff. The actual people who are hands-on in caring for my dad have been perfect and kind. The worst part has been the administrative issue. I've been told that they've been under new ownership for the last year, and they have lost four administrative people in the last two months since my dad's been here. So I have no one to contact at the facility right now. I like the staff members' attentiveness as well as their caring and longevity. They seem to stay and love their jobs. My dad needs his food chopped up better than what they've been giving him. He has no teeth, and he doesn't have a lot of dexterity right now either, so he has been having a hard time. There are not many amenities. They're in a dated building. They have a dining area. It is in a very rural area, but the driving distance is not far. It's maybe a 10- or 15-minute drive to an area with restaurants and stores.
