I cannot speak highly enough of Carillon. My grandfather was there in both the main area and the memory care area. The staff there truly treated him like family. He had never been happier (and this was his 4th assisted living residence!) than he was at Carillon. They treated him with respect and truly loved him. I knew that he was in good hands and couldn't have asked for a nicer, cleaner place or with more caring people for my grandfather to have lived.

We toured Cadence Mooresville. They have a lot of activities and a lot of people. Everyone seemed to be pretty happy and we were positive about them. It's both assisted living and memory care. The community was clean and very nice, and it was good. The rooms were big. The tour guide was very nice and bubbly.

Cadence Mooresville was very nice, but it was a smaller facility. Since my wife was so active, I didn't think it would offer the same activity that the other facility we visited did, but it was very nice and very clean. The person that gave me the tour of their memory care facility was very nice and very knowledgeable. They had a garden and a courtyard. Their rooms were decent with a restroom attached, and they were all well-maintained and clean.

My tour at Cadence Mooresville was awesome. I was a walk-in, so they went ahead and immediately talked to me a little bit about the center and what they have. I was able to see a modern model room. I was also able to connect with different people from the center who were able to talk to me and answer questions. It was a really good experience. It was very clean and very organized. There were things that they had on-site that I didn't think they would and didn't even think about. And they had an on-site beauty salon where they bring in beauticians, and they had a little gym that they use a lot for physical therapy and occupational therapy. They try to do some exercise routines for people, and they talk about the social activities that they had for their people. It was an awesome tour. The people were super friendly, and being a walk-in so it's not a scheduled tour, I just kind of caught them off guard a little bit. And it was still a great experience. They also had a little patio area where, there's a grill out there if you want to do a cookout with your loved one or have a family birthday party, or maybe you just want to spend some time with them, so you could do that. The rooms were awesome, very, very spacious, they were very handicap accessible, and ADA Compliant. I honestly like that they were pet friendly since my mom had a dog. So it's nice for a loved one to still be able to keep their pets and not have to lose them. So overall, the facility was great.

I toured the memory care section of Cadence Mooresville and they seemed to have a very, very good program to keep the memory care residents active and involved. I was much more impressed with that. They put out a monthly schedule and it details exactly what they all do, like coming up on Halloween, several of the staff were dressed in costumes. They're just not as big as the other ones we saw. We only interacted with the lady who is in charge of giving the tour and the executive director, but I was very impressed with them.

My wife used to stay in Cadence Mooresville, and it was a very poor experience. She was in the memory care, and the staff was inexperienced. They liked to take somebody in a wheelchair, park them there for a long time, and not change their diapers. Their rooms were nice, but the food was not very good. It's also not very clean. There was a lot of urine smell. They need to hire better and more qualified staff.

Cadence Mooresville was very nice. We met a lot of staff members, and they were all very happy and very positive. They don't have independent living. They have assisted and memory care. It was a very happy place, very well decorated, and very comfortable rooms. It looked very nice. It looks like they are doing a lot of renovation, which all got stopped during COVID. What I saw done was very nice. Then there were a lot of places, like their weight room, that just had everything in boxes. Another room wasn't painted yet, but what I saw of the completed room was very good.

Carillon Assisted Living was beautiful, very nice, and clean. The staff was very nice. The problem with the place was they want over $6,000 a month. The lunch we had there was good.

Not very happy with this facility. The director is combative. Yelled at me on several occasions because she thought I was bad mouthing the facility to an outside provider. Which I have every right to do, if they are not caring for my family member properly. Not good at all with the families. There are few wonderful dedicated aids but overall have had problems with getting meds and treatments done on time. Bedding not attendant to well and the food is substandard. They advertise great looking meals on their website, never saw anything like that. I don’t know what other facilities are like but it was not a great experience.

Carillon Assisted Living was very nice and very clean. The staff was really nice and everyone was willing to help. The lunch was good. Everything was great there. They have activities and there's always something to do. It was really roomy, with big places to go where the residents can do different activities. They have TV rooms and a room where you can do a huge birthday party for your loved one, and they have outside porches. They offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. It's very bright. It gives you that homey feeling too and it's really clean. Margarita was awesome. She tried her best to try to get my mom a space there for her. If they didn't know the answer, they would get you somebody who did.

Carillon Assisted Living is a newer place. It seemed like a home away from home, but it was pricey and probably the highest-priced one that we went to. It was nice inside. They had activities posted up for everybody. The dining area seemed nice. Our biggest thing was that they didn’t take Medicaid or Medicare. A lot of it would have to come out of your pocket. Apparently, there are people who can afford all this stuff since the community was pretty full, so I would recommend them. It was nice and clean, spacious, and had a nice atmosphere.

Carillon Assisted Living was beautiful. They had a little bit more features, but it was about $2000 more a month, but they did everything there. It was just like walking into a very famous hotel, but it didn't look anything like it. All the glitter and fancy stuff, it was very, very beautiful. It was overwhelmingly beautiful. The only thing they did that I didn't like is they pushed me for finances, i.e., for me to go and get money for my mother from whomever I could, and I didn't like that at all. The other places didn't do that. Also they said they would call me back in a week, but they never called me back. Their surroundings and their rooms were absolutely beautiful.

Carillon was a brand new facility so we liked the fact that mom would be moving in with everyone else and that she would readily make friends. She's been living there for a year. Everyone was very enthusiastic and very welcoming when she came. The food is one of our concerns -- portion size is fine but the quality nor the number of choices is good.
