We liked Belle Meade because of its location. Also, we've heard nothing but good things about the place. I knew a lot of people who've had their parents there, and everybody seems to like it. It's a nice place to be. The staff were real nice and accommodating. They have a pool, a library, a chapel, and an exercise area.

The tour of Belle Meade was fine, and the woman who assisted us was wonderful. But there was so much walking. They had cottages which were outside the main building, so mom had to walk all the way to the end of the building to get to the dining hall. The cottages only had one bedroom and they were so tiny. They had game rooms, a movie theater, a library, and a chapel. The place was very clean. It's just that mom would have to walk a long, long way from her cottage to get to everything. We want her to be able to just walk out of her apartment and have everything nearby.

We went to look at Belle Meade. They have a microwave, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a stove. They offer a 25% discount for retired military personnel or veterans. They have lots of patios, balconies, and beautiful grounds. They accept pets if you have pets. What I like the least about it is the location. The best thing about it is the ambiance of the facility.

Have made reviews for just over two years now as residents. Our staff worked so very hard during Covid restrictions. Now we are able to get back in the gym and our swimming pool. Dining has opened and food has been wonderful. Events are beginning and my husband hopes some Bulls baseball game trips will again be offered. Our grounds have never looked better. The ponds and fountains offer relaxing spots to visit with others or to quietly reflect. Painting classes have resumed, the bank is open and the salon is busy. What a joy to live here.

My husband and I have lived here a year now and are going through the corona virus national issue. Being at Belle Meade has made this national tragedy so much easier for us. Our staff members are real HEROES. They deliver meals to our door and we have weekly changing menus. They check on us , offer in home exercises plus in home contests to keep our minds active. Our maintenance and landscaping and housekeeping staff are keeping working and are shifting about in their jobs to keep us safe. We have been so pleased and blessed to find our new home and have made friends who are now family. Everyone keep safe.

Belle Meade was very large and both the move-in and the monthly fee were expensive. You have a choice of living in a separate house, a duplex, or an apartment. We lived in an apartment and it was very large and very well designed, but if you wanted to change anything in the apartment, you had to pay for it. We had to pay $500 to have the carpeting taken up and hardwood floors put in. The only meal they offer is Continental Breakfast. They had restaurants there, and the meals were expensive. They had a clothing policy. You can wear jeans at lunch in two of the venues, but you can't wear them for dinner in any venue. There's a venue where you have to wear a jacket and a tie. It's pretentious, but it's beautiful, and there were lovely walkways and ponds, and you have privileges at nine different golf courses. Our apartment looked out on the practice putting green. The views and the landscaping were beautiful. They had lots of marvelous excursions, and they offer transportation to doctors' appointments for free. They charge for the food like a fine restaurant downtown, and it was definitely not worth that. The staff members were very friendly and very nice.

We live in a 1,600 sq foot apartment with a water balcony view. Our apartment is updated and modern. The staff here have become part of our family. These folks are caring and are delightful to be with daily. Food is wonderful and offers a grand verity. . We work out at the gym here with a trainer for residents. Educational programs are offered as well as musical programs. We have raised garden beds which offer gardening opportunities, book clubs flourish, Mahjong games are all over campus as well as bridge. Water walking and exercises are available to residents in a salt water pool with a jacuzzi. Painting classes are on campus. We also have a salon with a verity of services and a bank is on property. We had so blessed to be here. Naturally no place is perfect but you have to look pretty hard to find many problems here. PLUS the residents have made the move here so wonderful after living in our former community for 67 years.

We moved here 9 weeks ago and wonder why we did not move here sooner. The grounds are lovely.....5 lakes or ponds and open grounds for walking.

Don’t be fooled by the beautiful exterior, dining rooms and apartments or houses! The food is absolutely horrible!! They rotate menus every third week. The same old thing which is usually tasteless and colorless. They never serve fresh veggies or fruit which are crucial to elderly residents. The waitstaff is clueless. Residents have voiced their complaints often at the residents meetings only to be met with “we will look into it”. I actually feel sorry for the dining room manager because he is trying his best to remedy the situation but to no avail. The residents have already paid their entrance fee and their complaints fall on deaf ears.

The Belle Meade was lovely. The rooms were large, very neat, very clean, and very up to date. The dining facilities were outstanding, and the property was very well kept and very nice.

They provide the basics. It is located far from any shopping or entertainment, not many on-site activities. Best for those who can provide their own transportation. Staff turn over seems to be very high at their Coventry facility.

Belle Meade has a beautiful campus. It is only 10 miles from my house, so it would be an easy move. It’s by my daughter. I have all my doctors here. The hospital here is fabulous. I’ve been a patient twice, and I had the best care I could possibly want. I had a lunch in their casual dining room a week ago with the salesperson. At that time, I had quiche and soup, and both were absolutely fabulous. When you go to the main dining room, you have to make reservations, you have to wear nice clothes, and their service is superb. We came in at 5:30 pm. We had finished eating by 6:30 pm, so we got waited on immediately. I had short ribs and mashed potatoes and so much broccoli. It was steamed perfectly. And I had an out-of-this-world dessert. They had wine with it, or you could have a mixed drink if you wanted. They have the rooms from 1-bedroom to 3-bedroom. They had an apartment, which is a lot cheaper than getting a cottage. The cottages always cost more. They’re bigger, and the price is always according to sq. ft. I can take my four cats into an apartment. They have a whole building which is for people with pets. They have bingo, bridge, tai chi, and they have a balance class of some sort. There is a group that goes to the symphony when it’s here, which is in the winter time. They have a swimming exercise class of some sort.

They were very gracious and nice at Belle Meade, however, it is very expensive. You can have an apartment, a duplex or have a private home. They're very nice. I've eaten there several times. The food is great but it's quite formal. The main dining room requires a coat and tie. They have just about anything you want like swimming pool and completely furnished gym. I like everything about it except the expense.

We were in in Belle Meade for an hour and we saw only a few residents. I only met the woman who was in charge of marketing and she gave us a tour and showed us the rooms.

When I did contact other people and found out how delightful this place was, I was very pleased! My mother considered moving here when her husband was institutionalized for Alzheimer's. I strongly recommended this facility based on the positive feedback I've received from her for years and from my family and other contacts. My sister and I took care of my dad in California. When mom finally moved in, I found out there's Catholic connection embedded in Belle Meade. She really thrived on the friendly and caring support. One thing though is they lack communication. My mom went into a crisis when her husband fell and his Alzheimer's became worse. Also, I didn't see anywhere on the website where I could get more information about visiting family members.
