I live at Autumn Home Care. It was near my family. I had used it previously, and I was satisfied with it. The staff here is helpful and knowledgeable. They are nice to the patients. The room is considered a private room. It is set up for two beds, it has two closets, I have two chest drawers, two nightstands, and I have my recliner. I bring my own hospital bed from my home, but I sleep in my recliner most of the time. We have a den and a kitchen/dining room. If you have company, you can take them to the den living room or you can take them to your room. The dining area has two tables and chairs and everybody sits pretty much where they can see one another. We talk across the room to one another. For our meals, it's up to the nurse that's on duty that day. She does the cooking, too. So, it's what her choice is for that day, and she might ask us sometimes what we want, and we tell her. The meals are good. Our den or living room is considered our activity room, too. We have bingo, movies, and puzzle put-together sessions, drawing sessions, and coloring sessions. We have various churches and Sunday schools that come in at any time, and we have church service on Sundays. It's a different church each Sunday that comes in.
