I am staying at Ambriant at Austin Village. What I love the most is that it's got a very warm and cozy feeling to it. It's smaller. The people here are very nice people. It's run well. The only thing I don't like, and why I am moving, is because it has a mandatory food plan that I don't want. The staff members are wonderful and excellent people. They offer institutional food. I have food issues, and my food issues aren't met because I'm in the minority for my food issues, so I'm paying very heavily for it. They have knitting, bingo, exercise, movies, games, puzzles, karaoke, and all kinds of stuff.

I'm going to move into Ambriant at Austin Village. I stayed there for two days as a guest, so I got a good feel for the place and the people there, and the staff. I was very happy. I interacted with the staff. They were wonderful and very helpful. The menu for the dinner is excellent. The food is delicious. The breakfast is wonderful. Everyone was very friendly. They showed several outdoor activities, and there was an activity room and a gym. They have the latest equipment and someone comes in and does exercise with the people. The food was delicious. They have a chef, and he does very well. For dinner, you have a menu so you can pick out what you would like to eat. It's not buffet style. You're served at the table. It's a beautiful new facility. I was pleased.

Ambriant at Austin Village has the most pros and the least cons among all the places we visited. We will be staying in a one-story duplex, and it's very nice. It's a two-bedroom with one car garage and screened-in porch. They don't have a pool, but they have a game room, a workout room, a little movie theater, and crafts activities There's a lot of things to do. The employees were all very nice and very helpful.

I went to Ambriant at Austin Village. The gal that met me at the door could not possibly have been any nicer. She was just a really pleasant person, and it really means a lot. The place was very clean. Of course it's brand new, but it was lovely, just lovely. I haven't had a meal there yet, although, one of the people that lives there came over to talk to us, and he did invite me to come for dinner some night. He would love for me to meet his wife and his grandchildren. Just very, very nice people. They have a movie room. They had a fully furnished kitchen, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, and just everything you would need in a kitchen. It was beautiful, and the windows were gorgeous. They let in so much sunlight. It's very nice.
