My dad-in-law is in Four Oaks Senior Living (Oakview Commons). They are very good to their residents and treat them all with dignity and respect. You can have a private room or a semi-private room that are very clean and very well maintained. The grounds are maintained very well, too. Residents have different activities to do on different days. I would recommend this community to others.

This place is a nightmare! Do not put someone you love here. My neighbor put her mom here on and the first night had to dress her mom for bed, give her medicine because they didn't and help her get settled. Within a week she had not been bathed, no medicine given and was bruised on her arms. Needless to say they moved her out. Places that are suppose to care for the elderly and charge you and do not care for them should be shut down.

My mother was at this facility and I removed her after 6 months of neglectful service. There were mistakes with paperwork, medications, diagnosis, services not provided and stealing. The facility itself is beautiful and convenient but the staff is uneducated and the management did not take responsibility and make timely and appropriate corrections. My mother was safer at home than at Oakview Commons. I spent a lot of time and money and only got poor service and a lot of worry about what they would mess up next.

I have a family member here and she really love the unite in the memory care. They have a new memory care coordinator there and she does a real good job and it good to see new resident coming in to fill the place up. Staff are great with the resident and most of all you can feel and see the love they have for the residents too.

When my mother first entered the facility in Nov. 2010, it was excellent: clean, well-trained staff, etc. We just moved her in May 2012. Her room was never fully cleaned; the memory care unit is overcrowded; and new staff are not as attentive or as well-trained as the old staff. There is little activity or stimulation for residents.
