We had chosen Highlands Senior Living Forest City because my mom only has so much money and it fit within her range. During my tour of the place, they showed me the assisted living apartments and the lady who did it was very nice. The room has a dresser and a bed with concrete walls. They're also trying to renovate because it is an extremely old building. For food, they provide 3 meals and 3 snacks a day.

We toured Highlands Senior Living Forest City. My husband and I didn't like anything about it. It was dirty and packed up, and it was not presentable at all. We had an appointment set up for that day. When we got there, they didn't know anything about it. They're not organized. The person that was giving out the medicine is the one who showed us the rooms and things, but they were all dirty, and also the shower room. We just wanted to get out of there. So it just was not possible at all. We just looked into the dining room. It looked unclean. It wasn't what we expected in the pictures we brought up online.
