My loved one spent two months at the Bermuda Village rehabilitation facility. His room was clean and spacious. The staff was caring and attentive. He was motivated and encouraged to improve (move) by the staff. They made his experience much more than we could have ever hoped for. Although he was very ill they showed compassion and he felt that the staff took his improvement personally. We can’t say enough good things about our experience with Bermuda Village rehabilitation facility.

Bermuda Village is a very nice facility in terms of its appearance and atmosphere. It's a lovely place. I have a lovely view and all the staff here are as nice as they can be. My dietary needs are a little different than the average person, but they try and they are doing fine. There are three meals a day delivered to me: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's got all nice vegetables, desserts, and nice meat. They have a beautiful swimming pool and a gym. They have movie nights, meetings, Bible groups, and just a very nice array of activities if one is interested in those things. Some nights they even have dancing. Cleanliness is perfect.

My in-laws moved into Bermuda Village. They've got two restaurants, they've got one on the floor where they live, and they've got one downstairs. Both are very spacious, both very nice, and with tablecloths. The in-laws say the food is horrible. There are planned activities, but they have not participated yet.

Bermuda Village was very nice, but too expensive. Everybody was so nice. The little apartment was great and it would have been perfect for my in-laws. The staff was tremendously friendly, everything was beautiful, and it was very upscale. We saw a one-bedroom, one-bath with a little kitchenette. It was just perfect, and you can bring your own furniture. You can go in, take your family, and watch a movie. Several residents told us the food was wonderful.

My mother lived at BV for a little over two years until she passed away. I ate dinner and/or lunch with her several times a month and the food was above-average. The common areas were always cleans, the staff was very nice. They offer a lot of activites although my Mom didn't take advantage of much, likely because my sister and I occupied her time. My Mom did make many new friends and was very happy living at BV.

Bermuda Run has several buildings in one village, and you can go from independent living to assisted living to memory care. I thought it was way overpriced because the independent living meals were not included. You get a $145 a month credit for food, and the average for breakfast is just $20 and dinner costs $30. You basically get your meals taken care of three times a week. The people were not as accommodating as the community we chose. The place was very large, the units were very spacious, and they even have a golf course and all these other amenities. It's more like living in a country club, but that's not what we were looking for. You pay way too much but get too little.

We chose Bermuda Village skilled care. They were all very nice, and it's close to our house. The staff is very good and has a higher than avarage ratio of caregivers to the patients. They provide transportation for doctors' visits off-campus. It's a very nice, clean, modern environment. Just about any convenience you'd want is right there. The dining area is absolutely gorgeous. It's probably not as good compared to other restaurants, but compared to the other assisted living places, it's better. They have outings every Thursday.

I like everything about Bermuda Village. It's great. I have two bathrooms, two walk-in closets, a kitchenette, and the floor is carpeted. I have a sun room and a living room and a dining area. The staff are wonderful and they take very good care of me. They come in every morning and clean the rooms. The food is excellent.

My parents have been residents of BV for a number of years and have had a great experience there. The grounds and facilities are lovely and are maintained and upgraded regularly. The community attracts a broad spectrum of accomplished individuals from across the country as residents and, sitting just outside of historic Winston Salem, offers a variety of interesting close by activities. When needed, the BV staff has stepped in and assisted with medical emergencies and were great to deal with when we could only do so from a distance. I can't say enough for the help the BV staff has provided, even working with us to Skype my daughter's wedding when my folks could not physically attend. I think very highly of Bermuda Village.
