Welcome to Sheehy Manor ! Since 1981, Colonie Senior Service Centers, Inc. has been assisting the
older residents of the Town of Colonie and neighboring communities with
their health, nutritional, social, entertainment, housing, and
transportation needs.
Sheehy Manor is an important part of our mission and further
enhances the quality of life for our seniors. As part of the network of
services provided by CSSC, Inc., residents have a variety of activities
to choose from at Sheehy Manor, at the Beltrone Living Center, and
at various other sites in close proximity. Ongoing activities include
special luncheons, dinners & health & recreation activities.
Sheehy Manor opened its doors in 1998 to seniors with limited income. Many original residents still live there today, a testament to the comfort and character of the facility. Sheehy Manor has become one of the area’s premier residences for independent seniors, maintaining a waiting list for interested future residents. Sheehy Manor has remained a true community where everyone joins in to maintain a warm neighborhood atmosphere.
