My Mother was at GS for 3 months; every Staff member was extremely attentive to her; whenever one of my family members called, the phone was answered immediately; if we needed to speak to a Staff member, we were connected right away. ---cozy rooms, also.

My girlfriends grandfather sadly was here. Staff was constantly rude, ignoring these poor people that were yelling for help, call Belll lights lit up in the hall like it’s Christmas. Some staff seemed OK but others didn’t want to be bothered. This one lady was laying in the hall with filthy close, begging for help. I hope I never ever have to stay in some place like this it looked awful

Lack of care. Residents begging for help. CNA s are frustrated. Should not wait so long while in wet pee. Sad for patients. Staff like to put the blame on patients. Not the case.

The facility may not be updated but the staff went beyond in care and compassion to my mom and my entire family at her end of life.

My Mom was here for 6 weeks for Rehab, the staff was amazing I can't say anything bad about any of them, from the nurses, aides, physical therapist to the social workers, they were great. This is the only rehab or hospital that when I saw something wrong with my Mom they were already on top of it doing tests to see what the problem was. In other rehabs and hospitals I have to tell them something is wrong over and over again before they would do anything. I had peace of mind while my Mom was here I knew she was being cared for and they were on top of everything.

The place is clean. The staff works really hard. Too many residents for each aide. Not enough time spent with the residents. The Home is beginning to deteriorate in quality of life. I believe new management might be the problem. Also some senior staff have lost their sense of compassion, probably because they are stressed. Not a good situation.

We placed my dad at Good Samaritan. It is immaculate. My dad got his mind back, and he is back to reading newspapers. In the other facility, I think he was really drugged, and he wasn’t with it at all, so I’m so happy with this place. The whole staff cares. They are very accommodating. I called from Florida a lot, and I was able to speak to the nurse or to the social worker. They spent a lot of time with me on the phone and updated me on Dad and his condition. He had gone in there with a sore on his foot, and it is all healed because they took care of him. It has just been amazing, and it is exactly how you would want your parents treated. The facility is on the water, and my dad is a former boater, so we could walk him down to the water, and he could watch the boats. I would absolutely recommend this community.
