I chose Legacy at Cranberry Landing for my mother-in-law. We liked the facility. It was convenient. It was close to where we live and the staff was very good. They invited my mother-in-law and asked her to go to all the activities, and she partook in them sometimes. The apartment is very clean, updated, and a nice size. They have a game room. They have areas for social get-togethers and they have outings.

My mother has been at Cranberry Landing for a very short time. The facility is comfortable and relatively clean. The aid staff is sufficient and most of the nurses are good, but some lack the people skills needed to work with the elderly. We’ve encountered impatience, intolerance and unkindness from a particular nurse who is skilled but she’s not good with the residents. Because of her, we feel that my mom is not safe in her care. We’ve informed the Executive Director but she backs her nurses so our concerns were dismissed. Management does not communicate appropriately with the family making decisions and then notifying the family after the fact. This should never happen. We’ve decided to move our mother to another facility. Her safety and well-being are compromised at Cranberry Landing.

Legacy at Cranberry Landing was small. Everybody was wonderful when we met. The apartments were very nice. They offered outdoor access for my cat. Everyone that we met was very pleasant and they called me back to check how I was doing. They do not serve lunch. They serve breakfast and dinner. It was perfectly clean. You would have no problem moving into any of the available units. They had a movie night. They would clean your apartment. They had a pool table. They had a library. They had a movie room where they would show movies. They had card tables and puzzle tables that you and other people could go to, work in, play cards, or play other games, whatever you wanted to do.

Clean environment warm welcoming staff, it is clear that they pay attention to the need of the resident. The staff and management are easily accessible and the residents appear happy to be there. The only negative is the size of the walk in showers otherwise the living spaces are very comfortable

Basically 0 communication with the residents family. They are unresponsive to questions and care more about making as much money as they can instead of taking care of the residents.

My friend is at Legacy at Cranberry Landing. It's close to me. They seem to be very caring, very professional, and very helpful as far as with the paperwork and getting her in and following up with me. It happened nice and quick, which is how we needed it to. So far, everything has been wonderful. They're very attentive, and there's people coming in and out all the time, so she has had no problem settling in. When I call with questions, people are very responsive, and they get right back to me no matter how silly it is. The lobby is beautiful, it's clean, and friendly, and the staff is very helpful, too. The apartments in the assisted living area are decent size, and the one she has is a one-bedroom apartment. She has been in quarantine, so she hasn't done any activities. Also I haven't been there a lot anyway, and we can only be there the day she moved in.

Legacy at Cranberry Landing was a lovely community. It was very welcoming when you come in, it was very warm, and very cozy. The independent living was lovely, and they have a two-bedroom available. In terms of the location, it wasn't that far from me, but it was on the expressway, so it's not as convenient as some of the others. The dining area was lovely, although I didn't eat there. They had all the amenities like a beauty parlor and there were a lot of activities scheduled. I have talked to the residents who live there and everyone seems happy.

We visited Legacy at Cranberry Landing. It was a nice community, but the atmosphere in the halls and the whole place was just dark. There weren't a lot of windows and it had a closed-off feeling. The room they showed us was very nice and it had a few windows, but was too small for my mom because she gets panic attacks. The staff seems fine and seemed to get along with the patients. I got to see them with a group of people playing cards.

I’ve gone into Legacy at Cranberry Landing, looked around, and made an appointment with the person at the desk. The grounds were nice and tucked into the woods. The area was not a bad neighborhood, but it was not as nice as the neighborhood where the other Legacy is. It had a nice atmosphere. I was only there for a few minutes, but I saw residents who seemed comfortable. My sister-in-law and my husband visited it, too, and they said the apartments were very small.

We quite liked Legacy At Cranberry Landing, but my friend did not want to go there. There were more separate areas for the residents to be in and unique, special areas, and more visiting rooms. The staff and admission people were always friendly. We did meet the residents who were very friendly and happy, so that was a good thing.

I visited Cranberry Landing (Legacy At Cranberry Landing), and that facility was very nice. Everybody was very accommodating, taking me around and showing me how things are going to change there. The person who took me around was very enthusiastic about her job. She talked to the residents; she knew them all by name. They smiled at her, and they said hello to her. It is very nice. It just seemed like everybody was very attentive to the residents there.

I don’t think the care of my mother at the Legacy was necessarily bad. What they were doing was not only affecting me very badly, but was making my mother difficult for me. I thought that they interfered in a very negative way. There was a problem, and the manager got fired. I was trying to tell them my mother has dementia and he went to the point of saying I was making that up even though I had documentation. Because of that, he was getting the residents to come up to me and say things to me. It was a nightmare. They have a lot of outings, movies, bingo, and card playing. They had a lot of music like little parties for people with birthdays. They have wine tasting. The staff doesn’t take care of the people because it’s independent.

At Legacy, the facility itself was lovely, but the apartments were not so much. They were kind of old and not kept up that well. Also, I was really disappointed with the storage. They had maybe room for a microwave and a small refrigerator, but they didn't have a stove or bigger refrigerator. I did try to eat there and the food was very good and the service was very good. The dining area was nice. It wasn't too crowded. The staff was very good. I talked to some of the residents and they liked this place very much. At that time, they were doing a Wii bowling and I watched it for a while.
