The interaction with the admisson team was excellent. The director of admissons, was extremely professional, caring and was readily available to answer all of our questions/concerns throughout the process. Due to her dilengence the process was a smooth transition.

Long Beach Assisted Living looked clean enough with the upkeep in the grounds, but just as soon as you start getting to see the rooms, things start to change. They didn't look as well-kept as they should have, but we didn't stay too long in that place. Once I saw the initial first impressions of the place and the rooms, we left the place, and we got other places to go look at. There could have been more said to make things a little bit more comfortable about their fees, and theirs is $10,000 a month, but I know very well that they're not taking care of millionaires in that place. Everybody there is either on Medicaid or Medicare or maybe a combination of Medicare with a retirement pension. So, I know very well that they're not paying $10,000 a month unless they all made contracts with these governments to be able receive Medicare/Medicaid. As soon as they say 10,000 to me, then I don't want to hear from them because to me, it's like they're not being inclusive. I'd like to know that they're looking out for the patient, and they don't just put too much emphasis on the dollar. I think the staff needs to be given an education, and trained to make sure that the rooms are kept clean, that there's no diapers on the floor/on the bed, and if the residents are not going to be in their rooms.

I love Long Beach Assisted Living. I live on the South Shore, so for me, it was great. I love that my sister's front yard was like the Atlantic Ocean. I love the beach and my sister loves the beach, too. However, we found that my sister needs a lot more care than they could have possibly given her. We would have had to get maybe an aide for her because she needs help with her food (like cutting her food) and she needs help with showering. I like the fact that my sister can go on the front, but I think she would need to have guidance with that. Their facilities were very nice because they had a lot of activities. The staff was very nice. They said they have a dietitian there and they cater to different diets. I liked the dining area because it was very spread out, which I like. The place was laid out nicely. They had a lot of space. They had an activity area. They had an area that went out into the boardwalk.

My dad currently lives at the facility. I cannot express the gratitude that we have for everything that they do. The staff is helpful and kind and is constantly trying to make sure my dad feels at home. My dad's room is an oceanview room where he looks out the window and is able to relax. The food is fantastic and the building is always clean. The Administrator is always on top of everything and if there is an issue he will take care of it immediately. I highly recommend this facility!

My Cousin is a current resident at Long Beach Assisted Living. The staff is always accommodating making sure that my cousin is cared for the way he should be. My cousin lived at another assisted living facility before moving to long beach. Long Beach Assisted Living is a much better environment for him and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for assisted living!

My mother currently lives at Long Beach Assisted Living. The staff is wonderful. My mother truly has flourished since moving in. The nursing department has been so wonderful with my mothers diabetic needs and is in constant contact with my family and it is a true blessing.

The staff is unreachable they never return phone calls no matter what the issue is....though my family member was having a stroke called several times with no.reaponse only to be told the next day he was in hosp with a stroke . Another time he was admitted and there was no emergency contact done. No one returns calls and every body is labeled as a director...i.e. every nurses title is director of nursing, their answer to problems is complain to administration and file.30 day notice to vacate....incompetent nursing staff....heart issues ignored no medical follow up etc....no contact with family about medical situation....do not place ur family here....building in disrepair....for sure of a Sandy destroyed motel...roaches and bed bugs present. Ambulettes dump and run. Aides act.like they are there just to collect a paycheck...zero stars to be given

I had a very good experience with Long Beach Assisted Living; The staff were very caring and helpful when I was transitioning a family member from living at home to the Assisted Living. We felt comfortable right away. At our tour of the facility we ate lunch and the food was delicious, the space clean. Since my family member has been there (6 Months), we have has no complaints. I would recommend this facility to anyone who wants to be calm knowing that their family member is taken care of.

Beware if you want your love ones to end up with bed bugs bites all over this the place to go. The admission director Kelly Roach is a high school dropout, the case manger Nicole was an activity director. Avi the administrator could care less about any of his residents or the employees. He won't pay over time he gets a kick out getting people fired for no reason at all. They still from the residents their monthly allowance. So before placing your love ones here start talking to other residents this place needs to be investigated and shot down for fraud.

Long Beach was horrible, very depressing, and smelly. I wouldn’t consider it. It was awful. I walked in, walked out, and said, “My God, no, not the place.” I didn’t notice the staff. It was different, like an assisted living but depressing. It was terrible.
