My sister moved into The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Great Neck. They've been okay. She's only been there for two weeks, and there's no visiting, so it's difficult to ascertain much information 'cause I had to just rely on her. I guess the food isn't too bad because she didn't say that it's not great, and she usually tells me about the food. The staff is friendly enough, and the case manager and social worker were very helpful in getting information to me. We're scheduled for a care meeting on Wednesday. The lobby was clean and orderly. My only issue was I was paying for a private room, and they had to move her to a shared room.

My Mother Luisa Y. was there a few times in the rehab section and was cared for to get her up on her feet after a hip replacement. The rooms a beautiful like being in a hotel, interaction with the entire staff very professional in caring for their patients. At 101 years old my mother was unable to join in the various activities but was cared for in relearning how to walk again with the help of staff and a walker. After my mother left this facility and went home she continued to walk and spoke about the staff here right up to the day she past away at the age of 105 Years old. If the day comes where I need to go to a rehab I will come here. My sincere thanks to the entire staff and doctors for caring for my Mother over the years, God Bless you all.

My father was at Grace Plaza, and I don’t think the staff was very attentive. That was major complaint, but otherwise it seemed to be a comparable facility. The room was clean. He was sharing a room with another person. He received all his meals in his room because he is not stable, and the food is fairly good.

Grace Plaza was the last place my husband was in. It was fine, it was cleaner. He was really very sick at that point. The people who took care of him were good. For me, it was a little hard getting there. From the parking lot up to the building itself, it was a bit of a walk up to. His accommodations were good, it was adequate. It was the best that I’ve experienced of the three places he was in.
