My dad is currently staying at Fredonia Place. The community is small. They have had a high turnover of staff. Their staff is young. Some are better than others. They have music twice a week and bingo for the residents. They have a small area in the lobby where people can entertain themselves and interact. My suggestions are food options, more activities, and more opportunities to go on field trips or off-site. They have a shuttle, but I don't think they go to different places.

My mother was there for a few years before she passed in 2020.. She supposedly got a UTI and they sent her to to the county home where she died..and never called me,, I do not believe the people working there care about our loved ones..DO NOT let them get control of your family's finances and they never really cared about my mother except when I visited..Beware of the staff..

Fredonia Place at Fredonia was very nice, very caring, and attentive. The place was very clean and very welcoming. We went to visit both assisted living and memory care and it was very spacious and set up very nicely. There's plenty of parking and the grounds were very pretty, too.

I really liked Fredonia Place. It had just about anything a person could want. It had very nice accommodations. They had exercise rooms, movie rooms, exercise classes, day trips, games, and all sorts of things to participate in. The rooms were absolutely clean and well-maintained. The staff was very accommodating, very pleasant, and very interactive. It was a very well-manicured property and everything was very nice and very safe. I was really impressed. If I was of the age, I would go myself there. I did see a menu and I was impressed with it and the choices, but I did not eat there.

Fredonia Place was a nice, quiet, clean, and new facility. The rooms were very nice and were comparable in price. The people were nice and friendly. The dining area wasn't fancy but was still very nice.

We visited Fredonia Place, which was very impressive and probably a top-of-the-line assisted living. It was very impressive. They had a bar area with games and happy hour. The place was really clean. The people that we were in contact with were very knowledgeable. It was just a very nice place but very expensive. The lunches were very good. They have Alzheimer’s patients, and staff tried to calm down Alzheimer’s patients and lead them where they needed to go, which is a five-star thing.

We chose Fredonia Place for my father-in-law because of the size of the rooms, privacy, cleanliness, and cost. The staff was friendly and attentive. They do have activities. It’s a nice neighborhood, and it has a homey feel.

Though I have never been a fan of assisted living communties/retirement communities/nursing homes, I was not the one making the decision when my grandmother began to have trouble taking care of herself. I was a little impressed by the quality of care at Fredonia Place from the first time I went to visit her. I was greeted immediately by almost every employee I passed and felt like my grandmother was in at the very least, a friendly place. She has taken to the library area and I know she's been enjoying the wealth of reading material. I do feel like the price is a little high for an unfurnished apartment. My grandmother's apartment came with basic appliances including a dishwasher, but the cost still seemed high. I will admit the price may be due to the fact that it is located in a nice area in a nice small town. There is a college nearby but I doubt there is much crime in the area. All in all I feel like my grandmother is safe and secure at Fredonia Place and is being given reasonable care. The facilities are clean and well kept. I haven't seen many of these facilities from the inside but with my grandmother living at Fredonia Place we can at least feel somewhat secure and attended to, even though we obviously wish she didn't need to be there.
