Our experience with Amber Court has been good. The person who first talked to me was very helpful in doing the paperwork so that my mom can get transferred from where she was originally. The staff has been polite and courteous. They return your calls in a timely fashion. I have not seen the inside of it because they're not taking visitors. She says she's OK with the menu. She's getting adequate food. Her appetite has been back because she hasn't been eating regularly, but now she's eating regularly since she's been at this place. Everything seems OK.

I toured Amber Court Assisted Living in Brooklyn, NY. I was treated very well and was escorted throughout the entire facility. The staff was welcoming, and I got to meet some of the residents. It was a good experience. The only problem is, I want somewhere that's single occupancy, and that didn't work out. To receive that, you have to contribute more from a financial level to get that amenity. They had their medical staff on the ground. They had a laundry room, dining area, and arts and recreation as well. They pretty much had all of that. They had a little feeding area on the outside. For the most part, it was okay. It was just the sleeping arrangements considering that we live in COVID times. A lot of these environments were dangerous for the elderly. The staff who gave me the tour was very nice. She took the time to break down all of the expenses and the services that are provided. The furniture did appear to be old, and the plumbing as well, because I visited one of the bathrooms. They could have put a little more just to make it a little more up-to-date, a little more to beautify the place.

Amber Court Assisted Living in Brooklyn, NY was good. The only thing was I thought the rooms that I saw were a bit too small for two people. It was also a little bit dark. The staff was excellent though. The outside of the building looked good and they had some activities for the seniors to do if they wanted to.

I am living at Amber Court, but it is not a good fit for me. I need independent living. I enjoy the three times a week exercising, and they have birthday parties once a month. They have medical checkups, they provide three meals, and I have to share room with somebody else. The space is limited, so you can't bring any extra furniture. They change my bed once a week, clean the bathroom, and do laundry.

I have an uncle in Amber Court and I have to say I'm really impressed!! The staff is caring and friendly. The building is not brand new but in great condition and very very clean!! Their activities appear to be really fun as well. And most of all I noticed when I went to visit that they actually cared about my uncle!

My friend is now staying at Amber Court. Just from looking at the place, I was not impressed with it. It was kind of dreary. The staff was OK. He has a semi-private room, and he shares it with another gentleman.

I found Amber Court of Brooklyn for my aunt and so far, everything is going pretty good. The staff so far seems to be on point, very pleasant, and helpful. They have a lot of TV stations on various floors. Although I don’t know if she really partakes in their activities, but she definitely plays bingo. Overall, I had a good feeling about the community.
