My mom has moved into Bellhaven Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing Care. They were very prompt in getting back to us, and they were very quick to help us out. The nursing staff seemed to take very good care of my mother and those that were there. They seem to be very nice, and there's plenty of staff. They seem to be caring. As I understand, there is plenty of staff to take care of the needs of the residents. The room is very nice. It's very presentable. My mom is enjoying the food. They gave me a booklet. I went through it, and they offer quite a bit. When you get there, it has a very nice foyer and lobby. The staff seem to be very helpful in getting in. It's very nice, clean, and well-lit.

The rooms and food are good. But the one CNA Lynette poor attitude, did not check on my family member the whole time I was there, bed not made, did not change my family member, after lunch the stuff still in his room. I approached her and her nasty attitude uncalled for. I asked for ice water for my family member she told me I can get it. Never heard of such a thing. She sat at the desk talking nothing about work , no care in the world of the patients there and my family member. I have a very high concern. This is neglect on a patient. How is she getting away with this? These are how patients end up getting abused when their loved ones are not around. I do not feel my family member is in good care with Lynette and she shows it with her attitude and very poor job skills of leaving my family member like garbage on the side. Not changed once , seeing if the patient is ok, needs anything ect. And this is who you keep working there? Dangerous.

My father was at this facility for 24 hours. In that time he was there for rehab for a hip replacement and was a fall risk. In less than 24 hours he slipped off the bed and fell to the floor. He called and called and no one came. He dragged himself to the phone and called 911. They had no idea till the cops came and told them they got a call from my father he needed help. There are no guards or sensors to alert them for patients that are fall risks. Not even rubber mats. The ambulance came and assess my father. They told me he seemed fine and didn’t need to go to the hospital. He ended up being sent after I left for aspiration. I got so many different stories from the staff . My sister and I finally got matching stories from Jessica. They were trying to cover their a$$. They accused me of refusing to let my father go to the hospital. Why in hell would I do that? It was the EMS that decided not to take him. I went in for the report on what happened and they told me I couldn’t have it because my dad was not a patient there as of present and kept lying about what happened and how I refused to let the ambulance take him. I told them a dozen times I did not. EMS made the call. Shady AF. I wouldn’t let them take care of a house plant. BEWARE

I fell in love with Bellhaven Nursing & Rehab Center. I liked how it looked, it was clean, and they had a secure unit for dementia patients. Everything about it was favorable, but at the time they only had one bed available and they denied my mom's application while she was in the hospital. I took a tour with the director of admissions. Their dining area and activities were suitable for what my mother would have needed. The residents were watching a movie when we were there, and they had a board with a list of activities that they do at different hours.
