My mom was just discharged after a six week stay. When we first went in Mr. Gottleib, the director, was always very helpful and accommodating. If anything came up, all issues were resolved positively and quickly with his compassion for care. Mr. Gottleib was extremely accessible and responsive. All of the staff was extremely helpful. When my mom arrived she was unable to walk or sit up unassisted. The physical therapy department was able to get her mobile. She is improving daily and able to walk a few steps unassisted. My mom had a very positive experience from the time she arrived until the time she was discharged. The facility is very well run, and immaculately kept. I was very comfortable with my mom being a patient knowing how well she was being cared for.

My mother is at Briarcliff Manor Center. The staff is very attentive. They provide her with physical therapy and cognitive therapy. She's doing so much better than when she was somewhere else. They have a general area for families that visit the facility.

My parents are in rehab at Briarcliff Manor and it's not that good. The elevator is broken, so they couldn't go to the rehab center yesterday. They had to come upstairs for the second time in a week. The food is subpar. They give them a hot meal at lunch and you can feel the plates are cold like they've been in the refrigerator. My mom likes the guy who does the rehab stuff. It's an older facility and they're rebuilding it. It's not a great place. They have bingo. They won't let you bring in your own doctor to check on them, so you have to bring them outside the facility. They foyer is nice, but after that it's not that good.
