I already have a place for my elderly cousin. I wasn't too happy then which is why I went online, but it has gotten a little better. So far it is OK. The name of the facility is Bayview Rest Home. The facility is not the best. There is a newer wing and an older wing. She is on the older wing which in my opinion is not well cared for. It needs a lot of updating. It was a little depressing walking to there. I'm not very happy about it, but she is going to the newer wing. I haven't seen it, but I've seen the hallway going into that wing, and it seems much better.

The building is aging. The plumbing cannot support the facility. Constant toilet and shower back ups. No companionship or supervision for those who need daily contact. No nutritional guidelines followed. Food is awful.Attempts made at clealiness. Laundry done. No supervision. Would not feel safe living elderly family member there. For $1,800 a month a better job can be done.

Old dirty furniture, not a nice place to send your loved one, feel bad for the residents.
