Staff takes good care of me. They always help me when I struggle. They help me with laundry and cleaning my room. They make us three meals a day. I like the food. The activities are fun. My favorite is when they do "Let's make a deal". The people I live with are great.

I recently toured this facility and I have to say I was impressed. Many facilities I have toured in my search have this awful odor to them. This facility is so clean and smells good. On top of that I must have saw 20 different members of staff all busy in the halls helping people. The boy who gave me the tour was knowledable. I am still waiting to hear back from them on whether or not I am admitted but I sure hope so.

The rooms are nice and cozy. Staff was always friendly and helpful. It seemed as if they cared. Plenty of different nurses worked late hours to make sure that I had my meds that I need. The aides are friendly and take an interest in me. I love the food. They even take my suggestions into account. The activities were a blast. The activity director Tyrone is really funny. The case worker has been extremely helpful in setting up the cell phone my son sent me. All in all, I really feel supported. Sometimes I miss living at my own home but this is by far the closest thing I have found. Thank you.

I can’t say a lot of Northbrook. The people working there are not great and there’s a high turnover. There are two people in one room and there’s not a lot of room. The food is mediocre. Some people like the activities. They have Bingo and exercise. They can improve on the living conditions.
