Everything I saw at Hillcrest Spring Residential was nice. It was a nice community. The people there were friendly. We were there when they were going in for lunch, the dining room was nice and clean, and people looked happy. Someone was playing the piano in the community room, and it was very nice. The administrator gave us a nice tour. No complaints. The living spaces were nice. The staff showed us a shared room, and it was nice. It looked large enough. The bathroom was big. It looked nice.

My dad used to be a resident of Hillcrest Spring Residential Assisted Living. They didn't provide enough care. They couldn't because there was not enough staffing, and they admitted that. They had some really great staff members there, but others were not so great. There was some staff that went above and beyond. Some of the others needed to be more friendly, more understanding, and willing to be more attentive. Things kinda got let go a little bit because he needed so much care, and they couldn't do it. The food was not good; my father did not care for it. In terms of activities, they did a few things. It's not memory care appropriate; although, they have other Alzheimer's patients and said they can care for those with Alzheimer's. They have a salon. They don't have a courtyard, but they're building one right next door. They had land cleared, but COVID held them back when it came to that. Not all the doors are armed, so residents escape.

The rooms at Hillcrest looks like a hotel room -- nice and comfortable. They have typical kinds of activities for senior citizens. They have games, movies and gatherings. They have sitting, television rooms and dining rooms. They have a sun porch and patio too. Services are not offered a la carte -- medication and assistance with daily living are all inclusive in the price.

your loved one will be safe , respected, and well cared for . Mom entered the Hillcrest senior retirement resort in 2007 as private pay. She passed in June 2013. She repeated said it was the best decision of her life.. The family could not have pleased with Hillcrest and the professional loving staff 'her second family'.
