My father-in-law has moved into Ravenna Assisted Living. It's clean and organized. The room is fine. It's a little small, but it's the best we could afford. The staff was very professional and courteous. He's only been there for two weeks, when we visited him, he was in a room with an activity with others, but we couldn't tell what kind of activity it was. They went and got him for us. They do have a barbershop and a courtyard outside that is arranged so that they cannot escape. They put it that way because, if they've got dementia, they tend to walk off.

Ravenna is unsafe. They do not have enough caregivers, mgmt is horrendous! Food is terrible. After finding my mother bruised from falls, we moved mom out. Owners are not willing to hear anything from residents or families. Never take a loved one here. Ravenna has not had hot water for over a month

When we got to Ravenna Assisted Living, the front door was open and there was some chaos going on at the front door because the power went out. But the activities director stepped right up, greeted us, and led us to an office area. It was really that somebody in that situation stepped forward and explained what was happening and took care of us was commendable. Some activities were going on, and I would say that the community was active. They had common areas where people could play games or visit. There were even some small courtyards off the side where you could go outside. It was a very calm atmosphere and very interactive. All of the care people there would introduce us to different residents by name. They knew everyone there and kind of had a relationship with them. They had one large cafeteria-type room, and they also had a formal dining room that if your family came to visit, you could reserve that room for your family to have lunch or dinner with you. The shared rooms were like a studio apartment style and very well kept. You share a TV. The inside and outside of the building were very well-kept.

I was not impressed with Ravenna Assisted Living. The rooms were small, and it was more expensive. The person who gave the tour was fine, though. I didn't have any complaints about her, we just didn't like the facility real well, because the rooms were not big or open enough.

My wife is currently a resident of Ravenna Assisted Living. The atmosphere was good, and the staff was above what's required by the state. Her room is relatively small, but it was a little larger than the ones I've seen in the places recommended. Right now, I think the system is fine. The staff was knowledgeable, they know what they're doing, they seem amiable, they're polite, and business like.

Ravenna Assisted Living's owner and wife were very kind and helpful. The rooms were fine. There were several activities, and the residents were in the hallways, and the assistants were helping them. It was a very active, clean environment that didn't smell when I came in.

My mother moved into Ravenna Assisted Living. The location is perfect for me, and the grounds are really pretty. The staff is very caring, friendly, and know what's going on at all times. She's in a double room that's a good size with a nice window, and I'm impressed. I didn't try the food, but they have personal chefs. She participates in every activity available. I highly recommend them because they're really caring, open, and nice.

I found that it’s close to where I live; it’s convenient. I would rate it to be pretty normal or above average. Twin Oaks is the facility. There are people that worked there all the time were all well trained, friendly, and attentive. They have exercise and different things like that. It’s comfortable, nice, clean, and pretty new.
