The Bristal at Wayne is a phenomenal place. I like the caring atmosphere. They're well-educated and very responsive. The community is extremely clean. They have lots of activities for both memory care as well as assisted living. There are gyms there, movie theaters, a restaurant-style eatery, and a cafe. The staff is fantastic. As for the food, they cater to each and every one of them. For example, my stepparent, who is there, has always been a vegetarian, and so they still go with her food choices. They try not to give her any meat or anything like that. There are times when they have a nice fish dish, but she won't want to eat it. She wants an egg salad and they'll make her an egg salad sandwich. So they go above and beyond. The building looks like a 5-star hotel. It's immaculate. If you drove up to it, you wouldn't know it's a memory care facility. You would think it's a hotel. They have all kinds of activities from memory care all the way to the residence. They have shopping trips. They allow you to have your own cars there if you're a resident. It's very, very nice. I also chose this community because you can put your loved one on Facetime if you need to. It's a little more expensive, but the value alone is worth it. My stepparent is treated with respect. She is very well taken care of there.

The Bristal at Wayne was outstanding. Every aspect of the place, the congeniality and the help of the staff, the grounds, the rooms, the food, the facilities to keep them occupied, it's just unbelievably good. We tried to get my cousin in there, but after her interview, they said she wasn't a good fit, so they didn't accept her. They have an actual movie theater there. It's beautiful. They have a couple of game rooms. They have pool tables. It was just very, very nice, very well-appointed, and very clean. I've never been in a place like that. It was really good.

My wife has been at The Bristal at Wayne for almost 3 months now. The place is very modern. Some parts of the facility need more care, like some stains here and there. But basically, it's pretty clean. The aides are very caring and they do their jobs. Jesse, who runs the memory care unit, is a wonderful human being. There are always activities going on. They have a living room area where they do activities. They have a lunchroom but they also have a cafe where anybody can get coffee any time and cookies, fruits, and cold drinks. The food seems good, but kind of redundant. There are not many amenities in the memory care unit. It is pretty closed in, but there is a nice courtyard. The flowers everywhere are beautiful, and they take care of that. It's what they call the Music Garden.

Spoke to the sales lady Danielle who was extremely impatient and dismissive. She would not respect the boundaries of the call and did not make the experience pleasant. I do not recommend.

I liked The Bristal at Wayne. It was a fabulous place. The staff was wonderful. I only saw a studio room but they have a variety to choose from. The program of activities was impressive. They weren't just the typical ones like arts and crafts, they were of a higher level.
