Mom was at Five Star Premier Residences of Teaneck. It's a nice community. It was lovely. The grounds are great. It was very nice. I had no complaints about it at all. I wasn't crazy about one nurse there, but other than that, everybody else was sweet. The food was good. They just redid everything. It's all new and well-kept, and the staff are very accommodating when it comes to the food. The selection is good (mom likes salads). They do a lot of word games. They do puzzles and they have some groups, if you're interested, like a little crochet group. They keep the assisted living separate from the independent living, which I didn't like too much. They had a girl who was in charge of crafts. She was great, but she left so I'm not sure how it went after she left. I know that they tried to do the best for the people, though. They always have some type of things going on and they do things for the holidays. I just hate that they raised the prices. It was such a comfortable environment that they would come and get mom. She would say "I don't want to go." Then they would tell her "Come on. You're coming, because I know you love the word games. You'll be happy." So, they took her out whether she liked it or not, and then she loved it. They pushed her into being involved. They didn't just say, "Well, she didn't want to go. That's not my problem." They welcome volunteers. They do things around the holidays and they celebrate birthdays. It was just really inclusive. They love to include everybody. It was very sweet. It's just what's worth $9,000? If all you need to do is have somebody give you a shower. That's a lot of money.

Five Star Premier Residence of Teaneck seems like a nice place. The exterior area is somewhat institutional though. The apartment that they would have given me is a nice size, although the view is not as appealing. It is a view of traffic and parking lots. The salesperson was very nice. I was able to try the food, and it was alright. The interior is appealing. It shows tastes. There are nice seating areas. However, the exterior is more institutional.

My 100 year old mom Shirley has been happily residing at Five Star for 8 years. She's always tells me how happy she is living there. I am so fortunate to have my mom living in such a beautiful place. Five Star is well kept, has wonderful food options, interesting activities and trips. I have eaten lunch with my mom many Fridays before the pandemic and I'm always amazed how the waitresses know my mom so well. The staff is professional as I know them well, having interacted with them throughout the years. They have been caring, attentive and there to always give my mom a helping hand. Laura, Danette, Marc, Joanie and Greg are just a few who have been there for my mom. During the pandemic Five Star has been very protective of all residents living there(Major testing of all staff and health care aides every week). I always feel that they are keeping her safe. Thank you Five Star for taking such good care of my mom!!

I went and looked at Five Star Premier Residences. I walked around, and it was a beautiful place, but I didn't speak to anybody. However, the ambience was good.

Five Star (Five Star Premier Residences of Teaneck) was OK. That place was really pretty. The food was outstanding. However, because of the level of care and the fact my mother would actually have to go on Medicaid, I didn't want her to have to move out of the room wherever she would go if she would go on Medicaid in a couple of years. Also, the only rooms that they had that would be for Medicaid were as far away from the elevators as can be.

We picked Five Star Premier Residences. It’s for my sister-in-law. She has not moved in yet. We’re waiting this week to sign the papers. It’s close to me. They have everything that you can possibly want. The only prooblem is they don’t have is a swimming pool. I’d seen the menus which are unbelievable. They provide breakfast and/or lunch or dinner. It’s excellent.

My daughter took me to Five Star Premier Residences of Teaneck for a tour. Everything was nice and very clean. The dining room was nice. Their rooms were fine and good. There's a patio and that's good. The food was good. They have many menus and they were good. They did have a lot of activities there. They have games and movie nights. They have an exercise room and they also have a garden where you can go out and sit outside. Everybody was pleasant. I enjoyed my visit in this facility. It's a place I would stay if I move up there.

I visited Five Star Premier Residences and it's a lovely place. Their staff was friendly and the patients were taken care of. They were dressed and washed. They catered to their needs and got their medication. Yet, they treated them not a diagnosis but as an individual person. That to me is very important.

We toured Five Star Premier Residences. The place is excellent and it was very, very nice. It's not really too close to our home but it's nice. It look like a very nice place. What we like best about the community, is that it has a lot to offer. They have a lot of nice things to offer. A lot of nice things about it. It just seem nice. Everything is nice about the place. I think my brother will be happy to be placed in this facility, but it's still his decision. So I still don't know. He's still up where he lives so it's kind of taking a long time. But it was nice to checked it out. Everybody in Five Star Premier are all lovely. Definitely all the residents are well taken care of. I certainly would recommend Five Star Premier Residences to others.

This facility has a very nice building and lobby. It's also close to almost everything. This place has nice amenities and is very neat. I've seen the different types of accommodations and they're wonderful despite their small sizes. They offer meal plans to residents and transportation to doctors' clinics. Some activities they organize include exercises and talks. I will recommend this place to others. However, they could do something with the rooms and make it a little bit bigger.
