My mom moved into Brandywine Living at Pennington last December. It seemed like it was not too large that she would get lost, and it wasn't too big or too small. I think they did a good job in the tour of giving us some insight into the facilities and all the activities, and things like that. I thought the staff was friendly and I thought it was nice that they know her name and everything. I think it's important that they know the residents and they recognize the people and they see what they need and they cater to the people's needs. I haven't tasted the food, but I've seen the menu, and it seems like they have a lot of options. you can get what almost looks like a gourmet meal or a hamburger. They can do that. She's pretty comfortable with the food. She feels like three meals is a lot for her. And you know, she can skip a meal, skip lunch or something like that, said she's done also. They have other options like you can get coffee and Danish, and they have a fruit or something like that without going the full meal if you wanted to in a nice separate area.

Brandywine Living at Pennington was my favorite place. I liked the way it looked. I liked the fact that they put it in writing that when your money runs out, you would automatically go on Medicaid. The rooms looked fine. They had a beautiful library, a craft room, and a theater room. The staff who assisted me with the tour was very knowledgeable, competent, interested, and easy to work with. I was impressed with their dining room, their menu, and the fact that they had wine on the menu.

Brandywine Living at Pennington was in the process of renovating some of the rooms that we saw, so I didn't see a completed room, but the size looked adequate. I only met the lady who did the interview. There was a garden, a library, and a game room. It looked like a nice place, situated in a nice area.

In two days, my mother-in-law will be moving into Brandywine Living at Pennington. It's like two minutes from my house. They have a lot of great amenities and services. The people we spoke to were very impressive, attentive, and helpful. All other reviews from people, both online as well as people we actually know who live there, have been nothing but positive. Everyone we have met so far has been great. The facilities are modern and clean. They have studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms to choose from, so they have a good amount of variety. They have rooms that overlook the woods in the back, and they also have rooms that overlook the atrium in the middle of the facility. The staff has been phenomenal. Another thing is that every resident there is currently vaccinated, which is great. The place is pretty and very clean, too.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Brandywine (Pennington). Prior to her move in September 2018, my mom researched senior living facilities on her own and felt most comfortable with Brandywine. For both of us, Brandywine is like a family combining both residents and employees. Since quarantine began in March 2020, residents and their families receive weekly updates keeping all of us well informed. Despite the stresses of the pandemic, employees work especially hard and with a smile on their faces. I am grateful for the care provided to my mom and can recommend Brandywine (Pennington) without reservation.

I am pleased to share positive feedback regarding Brandywine Living at Pennington. I work in healthcare and classify what a good facility is by three unique metrics: healthcare quality, cleanliness & amenities of the physical space, and exceptional people. Fortunately for my family, Brandywine Pennington exceeds in all three areas. Brandywine Pennington is ideally located, very well managed, and positioned to provide comprehensive assisted living care as well as more advanced attention. Equally important, each staff member is more pleasant and accommodating than the previous. Positive feedback for the entire team with much gratitude.

We moved a dear friend in to Brandywine when he was no longer able to care for himself due to illnesses. Only wish we had done it sooner. Nick thrived once he was out of isolation at his former apartment and socializing with table mates at 3 excellent meals a day in the lovely dining room. A pleasant studio apartment met all of his needs and Nick had access to beautiful common areas. Rides were available for shopping, church, etc. The entire staff couldn't have been kinder or more helpful (to Nick and to us) , seeing him through some really rough times before he died. Truly loving, compassionate people. Brandywine will surely be our choice should we require assisted living.

Mom and Dad have been living and Brandywine for about 7 months, and they are treated like family there! Two weeks ago we celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a party for 20 on site in one of their rec rooms.. The staff, the chef, everyone was so welcoming, the food was restaurant quality or better, and the convenience for mom and Dad of having the party on site was tremendous. The whole experience was so wonderful, we can’t stop talking about it! Thank you Brandywine for maintaining a wonderful home for them!

Our mother has been a resident at Brandywine in Pennington for several years. The staff are extremely caring and compassionate. The activity specialists plan a variety of fun activities and outings for the residents. They encourage and support participation. Our mom has made many new friends and her quality of life has improved.

My father passed away in July of 2018 and my stepmother who was co dependent on him was left to be on her own for the first time in 39 years. Her health was declining due to a broken heart which affected her health. My husband and I visited Brandywine and was very impressed with the staff and facility. Hilary and Kelly helped us find the right fit for my stepmom and the level of care that was needed. I can honestly say, that she is now engaging in activities, she has gained 15 pounds and she has the will to live again.

Brandywine Living at Pennington was the perfect choice for my mom. She is a member of the Memory Care Unit. She is well cared for and stimulated and most importantly, she is treated with respect and she is valued. The activities director knows each resident well and she has great ideas for activities of all levels. The memory care wing is immaculate and all of the residents are loved by the staff. Brandywine was also invaluable in helping us to make the decision to move my mom there and once the decision was made they bent over backwards to facilitate it and make it as easy for her and for us as possible.

My mother was having some medical issues that made it difficult for her to care for herself. It was recommended that she no longer live alone. My husband and I visited several long term care/assisted living facilities. The moment we walked into Brandywine Senior Living we were very impressed! It looks like a lobby to an upscale hotel! It is very bright and cheery! There is a huge fish tank that separates the lobby from a living room type area, which then leads to a lovely courtyard. We were given a tour of Brandywine. We were so impressed with all that is available to the residents: a media room, game room, a crafts room, hair salon, an exercise room. There is plenty for one to do. We met several of the residents, as well. Also, there is a Wellness Room where residents go to recieve their medications which was very reassuring.. Everyone, including the staff, was so cheerful and friendly! My husband and I worked very hard to make Mom's new space feel as much like home as possible. We moved her favorite pieces of furniture as well as paintings and pictures from home. We even hung curtains from her house. When she walked into her new space she said, "It looks like home." That made me so happy. It took a little while for Mom to settle in. She was sad at first because she missed her home, but that is to be expected. It has been several months sine Mom's move and she seems content. We got her a cat for companionship (Yes, you can even have a pet!), and that made her very happy. She has met a bunch of lovely ladies and seems to have acquired a new best friend as well! There is no doubt in my mind that Brandywine is the best place for Mom!

I cannot express how happy I am to have my dad at Brandywine Sr Living. I helped him move from asst living in Florida to Brandywine. I was concerned a move might be too hard on him, but now am so glad he's at Brandywine. The care and kindness that he receives is exceptional. Hilary has gone above and beyond to make sure my dad has what he needs and keeps me informed. The wellness staff has seen to his being cared for medically and emotionally. They communicate and make suggestions that have been spot on. Friends recently visited and said they agreed that he looks and is doing better than he has in quite awhile. The well attended activities are wonderful, and we will be taking a luncheon river cruise soon. My dad wasn't excited about asst living, but has been complimentary about it after being there a short time. Cudos to Brandywine! 6 stars from this daughter!

My mother was moved here after damage to her "home" Brandywine for about a month and a half. It was a wonderful experience. Ellen and the staff are fantastic. There are a lot of activities and the other residents were warm and welcoming. This is a fantastic assisted living facility.

It was a hard decision for my recently widowed Dad to leave his home of 30 plus years and move into an assisted living facility. But after visiting a few places and doing on-line research, our family recommended Brandywine at Pennington for our Dad. He agreed after visiting the place and getting such a warm and positive experience right off the bat with the initial visit. Once he moved in, the staff and our family helped him transition. The biggest plus is that he was allowed to live there with his dog. She is now loved not only by him, but also by many of the staff and other residents. The other thing my Dad likes is the food and the service at mealtime. Its fast and easy and tasty. He likes that they give the right size portions and always have a good selection. I usually have dinner with him in the dining room once a week. It's a great experience for me and I sit with him and his table buddies who are fellow residents. They are very nice and tell me " We look out for your Dad." My Dad also enjoys the exercise in the morning, the musical entertainment and the parties. The recreation staff works with the entire facility ( including administrators, housekeeping and food service to make the party a creative and fun success.) They also have specific opportunities for families to join in the fun, like with a summer barbecue or a holiday party. They have so many different theme parties too for the residents. I can't say enough good things about Brandywine at Pennington. It's improved my Dad's quality of life and given our family peace of mind knowing Dad is in a safe, family-like atmosphere.

Our mother has been living at Brandywine (Pennington) for three months now. After our father unexpectedly passed away, she had an abrupt change in her life which included moving into assisted living. The staff and residents welcomed her with open arms. It is truly an impressive place, noticeable in the lobby area when first entering. The facility is kept very clean and the staff is quite attentive. The Brandywine staff works well with our family and they are responsive to our input and observations. The food is excellent and the dining room elegant, with a staff of waiters taking orders, serving, and offering desserts. Plenty of varied activities for those who wish to participate, ranging from exercise classes, arts and crafts, bingo, etc. Bottom line - though our mother misses our father dearly, she is happy at Brandywine and well taken care of. This move was the definitely the right choice with no regrets.

My mom moved to Brandywine at Pennington. It’s excellent and has a warm, friendly, and inviting environment. The staff and the residents were very welcoming to my mom. She’s been there three weeks and has friends that she eats and socializes with evey day. The first week was a difficult transition, but now, she’s never in her apartment. She’s very happy. My mom does Wii bowling, and they have a movie theater and jewelry making. I lived there for three nights and four days and ate all my meals there. You get to sit down and choose from an extensive menu or daily specials. It was good. They have set mealtimes, but you can go all day long and still sit down and get something to eat at any time. Everybody’s been so wonderful. The place is great, looks good, and is just the right size for her.

My mom is in Brandywine Assisted Living (Brandywine Senior Living at Pennington). It is very good. The staff is very efficient, very friendly, and very welcoming. The room she has is like an efficiency. She has her own bathroom, refrigerator, kitchen sink, and bathroom sink. The food is very good. The have almost five or six different activities. Usually, they have exercises. They really encourage people to come out and be together. They play games like bocce ball. They do flower arrangements. They cook something. It is very nice. It keeps them active. The people are always smiling and always trying to help.

My mother spent a year and a quarter at Brandywine Senior Living at Pennington before a stroke forced us to move her to a nursing home. We were extremely satisfied with all aspects of her living at Brandywine. Since first impressions are important, it is relevant to note that Brandywine is an extremely attractive facility that is well kept and immaculately clean. My mother used to comment frequently on how lovely the premises were. The quality and friendliness of the care she received there was outstanding. Of particular note is the affectionate, caring, warm and friendly attitude of the very professional nursing staff. Without exception these fine nurses were always willing to go out of their way to do anything they could to help my mother. The nurses are supported by a staff of aides who were always available to assist my mother and who were always friendly and warm. The concierges who staff the front desk are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Brandywine's dining services are quite good and their policy of "all day dining" (the ability to get a meal at any time of day up until 7PM) is truly appreciated (it was not unusual for my mother to forget to go down to a meal at the appointed time...but that never meant she had to go hungry). Michael, who runs the dining room, is most charming and made extra effort to make my mother feel welcome. Particularly appreciated by my mother was the regular Friday afternoon "social" or happy hour and the ability to have a glass of wine served with dinner. Overall, we had an excellent experience at Brandywine. We truly appreciate the friendliness, caring approach, accessibility and competence of everyone who works at Brandywine.

Brandywine Senior Living in Pennington is an excellent place. My father was recently a resident there and I can't say enough about how accommodating they were. The facility is beautiful and the caring staff provide whatever level of care that is needed. My father enjoyed concerts and other activities he would not have participated in had he been living at home. His dog also became a very popular resident. I can't recommend Brandywine Senior Living at Pennington more highly.

After my father's death we needed extra care for Mom and she lived in another state so we started the hunt. I was getting more depressed by the facility until I arrived at Brandywine in Pennington. The building was beautiful, no odor upon entering and I was greeted by a smiling knowledgeable staff member. Mom loved it after walking out of several others that we had visited so we moved in and for 6 years called this place home. The staff became an extended family, the activities are varied enough to appeal to all personalities and the food and activities are top notch. Mom especially loved trips to restaurants and the playhouse for a show. I always kidded and said I want to come here when I go up - and I really mean it....

Brandywine was very nice. They also said if you paid for two years and then for some reason you have financial problem paying beyond that, then they will take Medicaid. The rooms weren't huge but they were nice. There was a place there where they have stuff available like snacks and teas. There's a library and the main dining room too.
