The facility will not release the funds left in my deceased Aunt’s account. Nor will they respond to any requests about the funds. My aunt died on August 7th. On August 15th I provided all of the information required to release the funds in her account. No response from the facility. I have left NUMEROUS messages for the financial representative, the Director of Nursing and the Assistant Manager. I have not received a response. Nothing! The funds would have been helpful in paying burial costs. Unfortunately, my next step will be legal action. Very frustrated and disappointed. They’ve added to the pain of losing my aunt.

Unfortunately, my mother is at this place. My sisters and I usually find her wet and / or soiled. Aides do not come to check on her at all. We usually change her diaper. She is bedridden and just had a fall. I wonder how long she was left on the floor. Today the door was closed, and the air conditioner was on. It was not hot today and why would the door be closed when there is one resident who does not walk and the other who barely walks? They are always short-staffed!!!!

Today, again a resident was found completely soaked! It took around 30 minutes for an aid to come clean and changre resident!! Why is it short staffed? People don't want to work there? Are the workers not getting paid enough? Whaever is the case, if a resident in not mobile and bedridden, it seems the care is poor to say the least!!!

Why are residents left in their urine and bowel movement for hours before they are cleaned? because they so short staffed residents are receiving poor care.

I visited some friends at Mommouth Care Center. The staff is very nice, very kind, and courteous. It’s a very nice place and very clean. They’ve been having Church every Sunday, and then they have a movie room. I guess they would play cards and everything else. They have a TV room and some other kind of rec room. It’s very nice.

My sister is in Monmouth Care Center. It's very good. Everybody there seems very nice, takes really good care of her, and looks out for her. It's very nice. It's a newer building, has two floors, and doesn't have the nasty smell that I experience with other nursing homes, so it's a clean place.

My friend Roslyn had a hip replacement. We chose to send her to Monmouth care for rehab as her doctor felt she would benefit. From the minute she was admitted she was greeted with smiles from every staff member. The rehab was great. They worked patiently with her and helped her get to walk easier again. They invited friends for Thanksgiving Dinner and the food was delicious. I asked her if it was catered and she said "Hanna, the food is delicious everyday. She had a wonderful stay and we appreciate everything the staff has done for her and her family and friends.

I've seen nursing homes before and used to work in them before. Sometimes they're not so clean, but Monmouth Care Center was very clean. That was the main thing with me. It was also convenient for my aunt because it was close and seemed to be just what we were looking for. We are happy with all the staff that are taking care of my aunt. Everybody there is friendly and seems professional. If you have any questions, they're always there to talk to you. They communicate with my aunt all of the time. She seems to be very well taken care of, so we don't have any problems. The food is good. She can eat at the dining room or she can eat in her room.
