The Chelsea at Jenkintown is a very nice and clean place. They take very good care of my dad and the residents. They have very good meals and they have activities so there's always something for them to do. You can visit your loved ones at just about any time. The staff is friendly and very attentive. I like the place and I have no problems with it.

The Chelsea at Jenkintown is a very nice and clean place. They take very good care of my dad and the residents. They have very good meals and they have activities so there's always something for them to do. You can visit your loved ones at just about any time. The staff is friendly and very attentive. I like the place and I have no problems with it.

We found The Chelsea at Jenkintown for my brother-in-law. It is nice and doesn't have that institutionalized look. I think there are only 60 residents, so it is small and convenient. From our house, it is not too far, so it is a good fit for us, too. My brother-in-law has been in this community for a little over a month, and so far, he is doing fine. He has a basic studio apartment with a bed and a bathroom with a shower. The staff is very friendly and outgoing and made us feel right at home. They provide transportation to and from doctor's visits if you go to them on certain days. Since my brother-in-law has a lot of doctor's appointments, it helps that a retirement community can provide transportation. They also do his laundry and clean his room once a week.

We visited The Chelsea and had a good lunch there. I was vegan, and they served a very nice salad and baked beans, plus a small slice of fish because I had been adding that to my diet. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was adequate and had windows.

My husband has dementia and is in a community called The Chelsea at Jenkintown. He's in their memory care. They take very good care of their patients. It’s a spotless, clean place and seemed to be very well run. They seem to keep the patients entertained, and they interact with the patients very well. I think anyone who has a need should look into The Chelsea and compare it with other places. Then do what you think is best for your loved ones like I did; and that’s why I recommend The Chelsea. It was a positive experience.

My mom is in a locked down area for dementia at The Chelsea at Jenkintown. The facility is close to where I live. Their staff has been there for many years and I think they don’t have high turnovers as compared to some other facilities. Their staff are also excellent and very caring. The rooms are like small hotel rooms and they are nice. It's mostly private rooms, but they have few rooms were people can share. They provide a lot of different kinds of activities suited for different conditions.

Chelsea is a very clean place. The staff are very attentive. The rooms were just a lot smaller than the other facilities I've looked into.

We went to visit my Grandfather. This is really a wonderful place where every one lives their each days to its fullest with independence and comfort. They have well trained professional staff who are available 24 Hours to take care of your loved ones. They help your loved ones with daily chores like bathing dressing and medication. Every one has their own private or semi-private apartment. They even have a large activity room with a TV where they spend their evenings together. Really a very nice place.
