United Methodist Communities at Collingswood was nice. The location was great. The employees that I met seemed very nice, but it's a much bigger facility, so I didn't get that warm, comfy, cozy feeling. I'm sure they take wonderful care of the residents, but I don't want my mother-in-law to get lost in the shuffle. The apartments were lovely. Room sizes were great. There's plenty of room. I don't think they have the kind of dining setup that could match her, because she sleeps until noon and then she gets up and stays up late. She's on that cycle where she's not up at the normal time as everybody else. So, trying to get her the food and whatnot might have clashed with her sleep schedule where the other facilities were a little more ready to accommodate her. The lady that gave the tour was lovely. She's very helpful in going over things that I did not think to ask. She showed me all the different facilities and the physical therapies. It had everything you need, the physical therapy, the arts and crafts room, the card playing tables, and a good level of activity. It was clean. It did not have that medicinal smell in the independent living.

Our overall experience at United Methodist Communities at Collingswood was excellent. It was very relaxing and comforting and had everything we were looking for. The staff who accommodated us was great. She was absolutely phenomenal and answered all of our questions. The room was very nice and what we needed; it was not too big and not too small. The place itself was very clean. The dining area was very family-like, very nice, and more restaurant type. There were puzzles and trips. What we were really impressed with is that there is a busy street out front, so you could sit on the front porch and be involved in the community, which is really exciting.

Collingswood Manor is (United Methodist) exactly what we wanted. It's pretty expensive, but we are happy to get my mother-in-law in there. It's elegant and great. It's a very neat place with big chandeliers. I think the building is over 100 years old; there's a lot of character. The rooms are great. They're like apartments, which is what my mother-in-law wanted. The places we had looked at were single rooms with a bed and no kitchen, but this one has a small refrigerator, a kitchen cabinet, a toaster, and a coffee pot. She has a bedroom, a large bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen. It's great! The staff is terrific and very responsive. I would recommend them highly. The food is great too. The staff would wait on you like you're in a fine dining room. They have a little cafeteria outside that does quick meals for residents.

Mother-in-law has been a resident for 5+ years. His place has been perfect for her. Being in a wheelchair, everything is available from a nice dining room with wait staff, clean rooms and many activities.

I've had a relative at Collingswood Manor for 2 years. It has been a total nightmare. I have to constantly nag the staff to provide even the most basic care. The management in particular is uncaring and rude. Their main procedure for healthcare is keeping the residents doped up on strong opiate medication. I feel sorry for residents there who do not have relatives to advocate for them at this lackluster facility. If you love an elderly family member, you would never, ever house them at Collingswood Manor.

After touring 4 other communities for my mother I thought this was the one. The outdoor space is beautiful. But after touring the 5th floor I was turned off . There was barely any staff, residents were asleep in the hallway in wheel chairs and the walls were dirty.

What a lovely facility. The staff is amazing, and the facility is clean and well kept. My aunt was a patient in the nursing facility, and now she has her own apartment in the assisted living section. I LOVE it, and so does she. It is a wonderful place.

Collingswood Manor offers everything from independent living to respite care. It is very big and very nice. It is all modern. The independent living have three different size apartments and it just depends on your ability to pay. The apartments were nice but small. There was not enough storage space. There was just one closet in this tiny little apartment. The staff was wonderful. They did have all kinds of things every day. They would have computer classes, arts and crafts classes. They would actually go out and run trips to different places a couple of times a week. They also have a library there. The residents seemed active enough.

Having to have mom move into senior living was the most difficult decision for her and our family. Collingswood Manor made it easy and she loves it there. Everyone is so nice and I can't believe it but mom is involved with more things then ever. Most importantly they listen to her and really seem to understand her. She has been there about a year and a half now and we couldn't be happier with our decision.

My aunt was a resident at Collingswood Manor for 8 years. During this time, I visited her often. The facility was always clean and appeared well taken care of. The residents looked happy and there were a lot of activities for the residents to partake in. The staff at Collingswood Manor was attentive and helpful and answered all questions that I and my family had. The building itself and the neighborhood is beautiful. Collingswood is a nice, quaint town and my aunt enjoyed the periodic trips to the downtown area. My aunt had no complaints while she was living at the facility. She enjoyed the people and always talked about how good the food was. She loved the staff, especially the caregivers and nurses assigned to her. I would recommend Collingswood Manor to families looking for a safe, clean, and highly reputable and rated facility to care for their loved ones.

Collingswood Manor is part of United Methodist Homes of New Jersey. They provide a great lifestyle for seniors and exceptional care if assisted living is needed. They also promise never to ask an individual to leave due to inability to pay. The facility seemed clean and well kept, and the staff seemed overall to be pleasant and quite mannerly which is a very important attribute for these kinds of places. The place had a wonderful atmosphere about it, and overall I was quite impressed with the state of the rooms a decor within each of the rooms. It was very nice. Especially in times like these, it's nice to see people caring for the elderly and giving those of us in our golden years the respect we deserve even as we are so often deigned our basic dignities. I was very impressed indeed with Collingswood manner. I would honestly recommend it to anyone.
