I stayed here for just a few weeks while I rehabbed. I enjoyed the food, and the PT staff was excellent. They knew just what to do to get my strength back. I would recommend them.

BEWARE! Owners and staff don't care about your loved one. All they care about is the money! Also, as a cost-cutting messure, dinner is no longer served in dining room. Little to no security/emergency assistance available after 8pm. (This was an amazing, caring place to live up until 2021.)

Our tour experience at the Daughters Of Miriam Center was very good. It's a very nice facility and they seemed to be caring. They have physical therapy, a nice senior program including entertainment, and a weekly hairdresser. There was an area where you can go outdoors, but it was not like expansive grounds. There were nice rooms where families could meet. They were very accommodating when I was there and they answered all my questions and seemed sincere. It's an older building, but it was clean.

The facility is clean and nicely decorated, the staff is Fairly Satisfactory....I see people wait too long to be taken to the bathroom....I have a huge complaint about the food...it is either undercooked or overcooked...and too much of the same thing....first my Mother (95 yrs old and very competent) was getting too much fish...now it is too much grilled cheese). She was in an Alaris facility, which was not good at all....2 stars!!! I really am sorry but the food wasted is unbelievable....entertainment seems to be pretty good...I think BINGO should be more often. The manicures for free is nice. If only I didn't have to put my Mother in a nursing home, but I did have to....at least it is a fairly good facility. They had my Mother taken to Clara Maas Hospital a year ago, which was great, (she had the flu) and another time for another medical issue, which I appreciated...and they take her to the doctors when necessary. Dr. Rana was awesome,,,a year ago, when she was nearly 94, he told me he recommended a pacemaker, we had it done, and she came thru with flying colors! Another complaint is they seem to have lost her socks...more than 12 pairs are missing, so I bought 20 more pairs,,,they didn't say anything to me til she was down to one pair of socks, which was ridiculous...why not when she had 5 pairs? I am there every Sunday. A few of her tops went missing also. Sometimes they had 2 different socks on her (why?) or someone else's socks.

I visited Daughters of Miriam Center and I liked it. Everything was brand new and very nice. They're very friendly. I liked the attitude of the people. The apartment was brand new and very nice. It's a one-bedroom, one bath with a kitchenette and a living room. They have one meal a day and activities like movies and Bingo. The staff was great. They're the nicest people you will ever see. It's a really great facility. I was very impressed. I can't wait to get in there.

Daughters of Miriam Center is awesome, and I'm very pleased. They have bingo, they give manicures to the women in the afternoon, they play Trivial Pursuit, they have movie nights, and the other day I went in there was a guy playing music for them. The staff is very accommodating. One time I wanted my husband to have a CT scan, they had that scheduled and ready to go right away. We moved him in November and he was supposed to have had a pneumonia and flu shot and he had it. They follow up on every minute detail. The place is spotless. Every time you walk in there, they are cleaning something. There's a place where you could take them outside. They would not agree to take him until they knew for sure that they would be able to accommodate him and that was really a plus.

When I went to visit Daughters of Miriam, the first person I met was Rhonda. I was so impressed by her and how she related to the patients I knew it was the right place for my loved one.

My family and I are so grateful for the entire staff at Daughters of Miriam. A family member of mine was in the nursing home and they treated her as if she were their own. We would also like to acknowledge the friendly and helpful members of the business office for helping us.

I visited several nursing facilities before selecting Daughters of Miriam Center. While the facility may not be as modern as some, the care far exceeded my expectations. I checked on my mom at all different hours and was pleased to see that the staff ensured she was engaged in a variety of activities. Deciding where to place a relative is a very emotional decision, however, the Center made the decision very easy for me.

Although somewhat aged, as the residents, the facilities at Daughters of Miriam are relatively clean and bright. The asphalt tile floors date this facility and the fluorescent lighting gives it an overall green pallor. The nurses and attendants were tolerant but not overly kind or attentive. Some appeared to be annoyed when dealing with the residents that have been there a while. Food was served in a community dining room. The service was mechanical and very inattentive. The institution provide as variety of activities for the residents including concerts and games. Those that are ambulatory can enjoy off-site excursions to places like Atlantic City casinos.
