My mother is doing rehab at AristaCare at Cherry Hill. She has been there for five weeks now. I'm pleased with it. It is very good. In my opinion and experience since she was in a different home, I would say that the nursing staff is better, very good, and very aware. The physical and occupational therapy staff is good, too. The only complaint my mom has is the food. The rooms are nice and they look more residential than institutional. My mom has a roommate. They have a large room. Each has her own closets, her own TVs, and her own night bedstands. It is more of a living arrangement appearance than some places are. I think everybody is good. I think they have done a good job with it. The nursing staff is alert and sympathetic to the patients' needs. The therapy staff members are good. It is worth my mom's time to be there. The administrators are good. I'm happy with most aspects of it. The place doesn't look tremendously inviting on the outside but it is functional and good on the inside, which is what counts. I would recommend AristaCare.

My father was in Aristacare at Cherry Hill. Originally, when he first went there the staff was good and professional. They had a young lady, she was the director of nursing, and she was really good, but when she left it just went downhill. The room wasn't bad, it was kept clean. The furniture was really old, but other than that it was clean, and it wasn't bad at all. It was a shared room. I think the people who are there for rehab and going home have private rooms, but if you are there for long-term care, you'd have a roommate. Visitation was you could just walk in and go to their room whenever you like. When COVID hit they shut everything down, but leading up to COVID you could just walk in whenever you want to visit, and you have to sign in on a book. If you would want to take them out for a visit, you'd have a certain time to take them back, and you have to sign them in and out in a book.

We chose AristaCare because someone recommended it. The staff seemed very knowledgeable. They were very involved with the people living there. The rooms are very nice and spacious. They have all kinds of activities to try to stimulate their memory. The dining room seemed to be very nice, and everybody seemed to be eating and enjoying it. I would recommend it to others.

My Great Aunt was transferred here from a nursing home in Philadelphia about 3-4 years ago. She stayed here for 2 years until her death. I have to say, the nurses and staff here were terrific. They were very nice and courteous to us when we visited and MOST of them seemed to genuinely care about their patients. The only negative thing I really have to say about this place is that it wasn't the cleanest nursing home in the world. As soon as you walked in, all you smelled was urine and feces. Other than that, staff was nice and the facilities had little visiting areas that were nice. My Great Aunt had a semi-decent quality of life while being here. We even donated a few things to them a while back to show our appreciation.
