My spouse has moved into The Courville at Nashua. The staff are excellent. She's in a shared room, and she does really like that. It's fine, not very homey, but more like a hospital. Maybe when she moves upstairs, which is the long term, it'll be better. It has a toilet and a sink, not a shower. It's two beds with a curtain in between and a bathroom. There's a TV, and a dresser, nothing fancy in any way, shape, or form. In terms of value for money, it's our first experience with a long-term home of any kind, I was expecting maybe more than what they give. If she doesn't eat, they just take her food away. It's not a hospital, so they don't encourage you to eat. Eating is one of her problems, she doesn't eat, and they just drop the food and then pick it up, that's it. I don't think that's their problem, I think that's just something I'm learning on what to expect. I think the rates are ridiculous. It's $14,000 a month, I could probably put her in an apartment, get a full-time nurse, and it might cost me less. We were a little overwhelmed with the cost. The upkeep and maintenance seem okay. I've never seen anybody cleaning the room, but I assume it gets cleaned. I've noticed some stuff on the floor, and there have been times when I thought it could be cleaner. I've been with my spouse a couple of times when she got served her dinner. I have not tried it, but they brought an egg salad sandwich, which is what she ordered but wouldn't eat. But the bread was fresh, and the egg salad smelt fresh. It looked okay. There's a PT room, but she's not able to do it at this point. They have activities, but she's not able to do them at this time. They were the ones that had a bed, and they were the ones we took because we were in desperate need.

My mom spent two weeks at Courville after her hospitalization. The facility is clean, the room are hospital like, the staff seems friendly. They do not have phones in the room. If we needed to speak to my mom or she needed to call us, they would wheel her from her to the phone. She is not good with a cell phone so does not have one. Not all elderly can use a cell phone. When asked about the phone situation, the staff quickly reminded us that most people have a cell phone. It surprised us that a place that takes care of the elderly would be so insensitive to those that can't use technology. It was very hard to get updates on our mom from the staff, and many times we were not called back. If she ever has to go back into rehab, Courville would be the last place we would want her to go.

I was not impressed. The staff were friendly and welcoming. No real concerns on that front, but I just didn't care for the facility as much. They had a full meal service from the information provided. They had what looked like a full range of activities. The staff were friendly and helpful and certainly willing to answer questions.

My mom was at Courville at Nashua. She stayed there when she had her knee surgery. She was there for rehab. The staff was nice, but I feel like they didn't care a lot about our privacy. They were helpful, but sometimes she would be calling for a while and nobody would answer her. But she was the only one in this specific area, so there wasn't anybody going by. The food was good. She liked it. She didn't get to do any activities because they had her quarantined for most of the time that she was there. Even though she had a negative COVID test, and she had the vaccine, she was still quarantined. She was not used to being alone, so it was hard on her. The people were nice. It was just she had a negative test, and they could have incorporated her more into the group because she saw people down the hallway, and she was alone. I would give them 2 because she was unhappy. People were doing stuff, but she couldn't be involved. The staff was nice, but there weren't a lot of people around and it was hard to find somebody. There wasn't a lot of people, and a lot of times she would be calling, and nobody would come. It's an old building.

VERY UNSATISFIED WITH THIS FACILTY. Don’t be fooled by the Starbucks bar, by your own Starbucks and spare your loved ones of this place. My mother came here for rehabilitation after a hospitalization and I regret sending her here. She did not receive the therapy she needed, was told Medicare will only pay for a combined physical and occupational therapy for 30 minutes a day. The therapy was itself was poor. The first day she was still in bed at noon. I had to come down and make a request for an earlier start. The next day was 10 am even though I requested 10am. Therapy was given at all different hours. Instead of investing in touchscreen coffee bars and touchscreen menu and activities screen why not invest in a touchscreen schedule of daily therapy which would help the patients. The food was so so. The staff did not go out of there way at all to get to know my mom and make her feel welcome at all. My mother had a very nice jacket that was left on her chair that was no where to be found the day of discharge. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!

My dad was transferred there from Mass General and was very sick. We needed a "skilled" rehab center to care for him. I toured Courville unannounced before his transfer and was impressed with all they had to offer. My dad needed PT/OT and speech therapy. Courville offered all. The staff was amazing and very caring. They all made a point to learn about the patient and their family members. They respected the patients and treated them with dignity. He spent 6 weeks there and was able to walk out on his own! They were fantastic in every way. I can't say enough great things about Courville. Even after his release they allowed us to use a couple of critical items which belonged to Courville until my dad's supply was delivered to their home. All the rooms were cleaned every day and were private. Each had a beautiful window to look out at all the lovely flowers planted everywhere, TV and recliner. They offered group games, exercise and even had a concert! 5 star rating to Courville!!

Our friend was in rehab at Courville at Nashua for close to two months, and he moved into the long-term care portion of it. So far, it's been pretty good. I don't have any issues to complain about. They've been helping us work through all the steps we needed to take. The level of care seems to be pretty good so far. We haven't been in the nursing home portion very long, but so far everyone seems to be very friendly, and helpful. He is in a semi-private room. His roommate is well-suited to him. The rooms are nicely decorated, comfortable and good sized. They appear to have activities all day long; though we sometimes have difficulty in getting him to participate in them. I went online. They had a pretty good reputation, so we decided to keep him there. They're on the small side. They only have 100 beds, but sometimes small is more manageable. Their overall rating was pretty high, and that stood out for us.

Our tour of Courville at Nashua was wonderful. The staff was wonderful, and the facility was absolutely beautiful. Because of such high demand and very few beds available, it wasn't something that we were able to utilize. It's privately owned, and it's very well taken care of. The rooms were very clean. The patients that we did get to meet seemed very happy. Everything was kept up, and the people have their own space. The dining area was like walking into a restaurant. It was beautiful. They had several floors of activities. There were libraries on every floor. There was bingo, arts and crafts, knitting and sewing, game nights, and each wing had their own activity. If they were able to expand on their building, they would have more people. It's definitely where you would want to put a loved one if you have to or if you're in that situation.

I had friends who did rehab at Courville. They were extremely good. I only saw a room. The room is like a hospital, but the common area is like a hotel, very pleasant to sit down and read a book in. They took really good care of their people. The staff was excellent. You don't feel bad if your mom goes in there.

Courville is fairly new. It is clean and well-managed. The staff that I met was very nice. My aunt is there and she’s got a room, she asked for one. It’s got all the amenities of a home. If I have to be confined, I want to be there if I could afford it. It was designed and built for comfort. My aunt is supposed to be there for rehab because of her knee surgery and decided she liked it and stayed in the assisted living after. She’s happy there.

Located in Nashua, New Hampshire, Courville Assisted Living facility did wonders for my family and loved one staying there. When I visited my grandmother here the staff was clean, friendly and professional. They always had spic and span rooms, activities for all, and a nurse when ever one was needed. The food wasn't the best however, my grandmother always had something made soft that she would enjoy. Sadly, my grandmother lost her long battle with illness but the people over at Courville have my appreciation because I know they made my grandmother happy till the end.
