I really like living here. When I was at home I was not taking care of myself. The Staff and the rehab team have made a big difference to my life style. I probably would not be here if I kept up the life style I was living. My live in partner was not taking care of me. Now I have 3 nutritional meals, my medication is given to me at the time and amounts I need. I get to have planned activities. I cant say more how the staff is accommodating. I am so happy at this stage in my life.

At Derry Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Staff was very accommodating to the needs of their residents both people who came in for rehab or if you lived there. Always Encourages you with supportive kind words to help get you going with your rehab, even when you weren't feeling your best. LNA's , Nursing, front desk, Management, Social Services, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Office support, Activities Director - stopped by daily to communicate with you. Great outside deck area to enjoy the "Sunshine" - I really enjoyed the Cook-outs. Made you feel like you were home. I would highly recommend them!

I would strongly recommend avoiding Derry Rehab and Nursing. Their facility offers little to no activities for residents, their LNAs are extremely young and unprofessional. There were many instances where my family member was not taken care of properly, resulting in borderline neglect. Their Accounts Payable department is extremely unprofessional and will take advantage of you if you don't pay attention to every move. Since moving this family member out of the facility, they have not provided any updates regarding a due reimbursement. The wait for another facility may be long, but I would encourage that route over DRNC.

The breakfast are awful and most of the time cold. the lunch's are sandwich with a slap of meat or a tiny bit of tuna or fake crab meat on white gross bread and soggy . and you don't get a choice you get what you get!!!!! They make them wait for their meds and for a bed pan !!!!!! this place needs to be checked out by the board of health . they never really get a hot meal . its disgusting and NOT right !! would someone please look into this . Makes me sad to know people get treated crappy here and fed awful food !!! Please investigate this awful place .........

My father has moved into Derry Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. I only chose them because my dad fell. He was in the hospital, so he had to go for rehab. As far as rehab, it's a good facility. It's nice, and not like a normal nursing home. It's only got 62 beds, so that was one of the selling points for me, that it wasn't 300 beds like all the other places I've heard of. It's a small community, I would say. Their staff is phenomenal, I love the LNAs and the nurses, they are very helpful. I haven't tried the food, but my dad loves it. In terms of value for money, it's not bad. I think some places rank higher for cost. This is not bad, it's up to $283 a day. Some places are $300 a day. Most places are going to be comparable to that. Everything's expensive nowadays. I do like the place. They do have physical therapy and salon services. They have activities, typical, like if you would have been in long-term care. They probably do things more on the outside during the summer, probably put trips and things, but not right now while it's cold. I'm pretty happy with them so far.

I wish someone would have told me how greatly my father would have suffered here. Show up on a day announced & see the condition they’re in before staff is alerted a family member is coming. My father suffered unimaginably and I will forever feel this guilt of trusting these “medical professionals”
