My husband has moved into Nevada Memory Care & Assisted Living Centers. They're doing good under the conditions. His room is good and they keep it clean. He has a dresser and a recliner in there. He's in memory care. I go in every day, so I know what's going on. There aren't many activities; that's the one part I am disappointed with. He is the most active there. There are seven or eight people there at the most and he's the most mobile. They have a lovely yard, but it's been too hot to go outside. I can't wait until it cools off. They have a big community room with a lounge chair and TV and there's a TV in his room. The food is OK. It's clean. His room is safe and there's no carpet; it's tiled.

I went to look at Nevada Memory Care & Assisted Living Centers. It was disgusting, messy, dirty, disheveled, and there was stuff all over. The backyard was unkempt, and there were buckets stacked up. There were no benches to sit down; they were all flipped over upside down. There were giant weeds about three feet tall. The patients were lethargic, staring off into space, and unengaged. There were very few employees to be seen. The couple of employees that I did see were not engaging with the patients and with me. They didn't look happy. I would recommend you guys research this facility, take a deeper look to make sure that people are being treated humanely.

My dad moved into Nevada Memory Care & Assisted Living Centers. Today, he is very happy. He's happy, and the food is great. He has voiced his opinion of what he does and does not like, and they have accommodated him. That has changed his mood a lot. They are coming through really beautifully. The staff is fabulous; they are so caring and they treat him with dignity. They are our eyes, ears, and hands right now -- they are everything to us right now. The facility is so clean, beautiful, and they are so respectful. Everybody has just been vaccinated, so they have to wait two more weeks to get the 95% protection. They can't do anything to endanger anyone there. It's very serious to keep that facility pure, clean, and without the virus, and I respect that. We researched a lot of places. They were actually a lower price than some of the others. They knew the care that my father needed, and the price was adjusted according to what they are doing with my dad. He is not ambulatory right now, so to get him shaving, bathed every day, and cleaned up, I think they have exceeded our expectations, and the value is worth its weight in gold right now. They are working with us as a family, and they are like extended family now. They are fabulous. It's highly recommended.

We have researched several places for our father that is category 2, non ~ambulatory. His mind is sharp for an 88 year old but he cannot stay in his home by himself. He is currently bed ridden and on oxygen. We found Nevada Memory Care and Assisted Living Facility to be the best match for our father's needs. He has an independent private room. The meals are lovely, though dad is getting picky and is starting to eat only what he wants. Sorry to the skillful chefs. We were raised to eat everything on our dish, regardless. The privilege of being 88. The personal care and hygiene is phenomenal. His main caregiver, Dominic, takes care of dad like he is family. Dad is in a new, clean shirt every day after bathing. Dominic shaves dad as needed. Never once complains of managing his incontinence. Dominic is our eyes, ears, hands and heart. Exceptional is synonymous with Dominic! There is 24 hour care with Cesar in the evenings. They both monitor and administer dad's medication and health. Both doses of Covid~19 vaccines have been dispensed to everyone at the facility. The utmost precautions are being taken seriously and are extremely appreciated. Hospice has been involved with precautions and will begin Physical Therapy now that entering the facility is deeply protected. We are at peace knowing dad is being well taken care of in our absence. (We live 6 hours away). We learned The Nevada Memory Care and Assisted Living motto is to provide Love, Dignity and Care. This is an outstanding facility. They provide literally the extended family environment our father deserves. They "Do Care More".
