This facility was the perfect home for my Father as he needed more care. They were friendly, accommodating & genuinely cared about my Dad & the other residents. I know this not only from my observations when visiting, but in my conversations with the staff. They found out stuff about my Dad that they only would have learned about by spending time with him. They went over & above to make all of us feel at home & comfortable with having my Dad stay there.

I've toured BeeHive Homes of Henderson. They were expensive but not deluxe. They didn't have space. They have a dining area and they had things for people but they're paying more for the help they offer people. The staff was nice but there was a few staff, and it's much smaller than the other place I went to. The staff was friendly and attentive while they were there. They were talking between them in positive ways, it seemed like the people were happy. There wasn't a lot of space, they had a craft time going on when we were there, they were getting prepared for lunch, and there was also half time going on. We also saw their TV room. I thought that the rooms were kinda small. It's located out of the way, so we kinda had trouble finding the place. The facility was clean, that's the first thing I noticed.

I went to BeeHive Homes of Henderson, it was very nice. Cynthia was wonderful, she was the director there and she took us through the assisted living area, and then walked us over the memory care unit. It's much smaller than where my brother is now, and there are some huge advantages to that. I think all of the rooms are private, so it's just for one individual, which is great. She explained that they just felt that for the patients, that's kind of a better situation and I would have to agree. My brother's only 65 and many of the residents are much older, so for him, that privacy is really important. It was remarkable how clean this facility was, that was the first thing that struck me. It was just impeccably clean and it had some activities and stuff that they do. She shared with us the kinds of things that they do to engage the patients, which is wonderful. So I'm leaning towards that one. It's nestled in like in a residential community, it's kind of there and you wouldn't even know it. You'll have to know it's there to find it, which is kind of nice. And then they even have some outdoor areas where they are very secured, outdoor areas where they could spend some time outside, which was very nice. Between the rooms and the facility itself, it was just very impressive. The whole dining area, that's where they do most of their activities and stuff. It's a very spacious area; it's huge. And it's a very comforting environment and it's just a very calm environment. It's very pleasant, not a lot of stuff going on where you're distracted or anything like that, it's very homey. It's just a very comfortable sort of environment. The person I spoke to was very candid because, I had some concerns because my brother is so young. She went through some things with me, made some suggestions with some other resources, and told me how things progress. I mostly interacted with her. There were other people around who engaged with us, but she was wonderful, and again, I believe her name was Cynthia. She gave me a menu of the stuff that they have, and it seems just fine. Any kind of special needs, if you're diabetic for example, or any other issues, they accommodate those needs. The memory care is a separate building, it's very secure because you don't want anyone wandering off. I like how clean and organized it was, it was very impressive.

My mother was a resident at Beehive Homes of Henderson for a few years. The staff treated her like family! The facility was super clean and welcoming every time I visited her (which was mostly daily). She loved it there and almost hated it when I would come to take her out for the day. That is where her "friends" lived. The staff were the most loving individuals I have ever met. She loved the activities they created on a regular basis. I continue to call the caretakers, my friends.

My parents have resided at Beehive Homes since July 1, 2020. We were fortunate to find Beehive Homes that offered a husband and wife suite. My parents resided in my home for over 10 years. My father had a serious fall and my mother has dementia. Caring for them myself became very stressful. The Beehive Homes' staff give my parents the needed care, supervision, and provide an environment that provide crafts, activities, and special events. The staff keep me informed about my parents' emotional, social, and physical needs. The facility is small allowing for more personal interaction. They are like family.
