I used to live in Pacific Springs Village. The major reason why I ended up there was the fact that you had to make a deposit of a certain amount of money but when you left, you could get the money back. The staff was very effective. They did their job very well. They were friendly and courteous to the residents. They had different sizes of rooms. We started living three rooms, which were two bedrooms and a kitchen. Then you could add a deck if you wanted to or you could have another bedroom. If you had the money to pay for it, you could have two single rooms combined into one. One resident did that so she had a huge apartment. They were about 600 square feet.

Pacific Springs Village is beautiful. It's a very high-end country club type of facility, which is not what we are looking for. The tour guide was just wonderful in explaining that Immanuel also offers two other tiers of service, and one would be like a middle price value, and then the third one is an even lower price value, and it also offered assisted living. I said to her it would be so helpful if the website indicated these various levels of care. They have independent living and assisted living in two separate buildings. However, these two formerly separate buildings are now connected with what they call a hub, so it's more a U-shape, and the common areas for both facilities are in that center section. The apartments were high end, had a good layout, and were first class. The staff was very personable, very informative, friendly, gracious, answered all my questions, and also offered other information about another tier of service that Immanuel provides. She was very helpful. The restaurants were lovely. They had three different restaurants that offer a variety of food.

Pacific Springs' memory care unit is brand new. They have assisted living and independent living, but they have just opened their memory support unit in September, and it's quite small. They have six residents right now, and then sometime later this month they're going to have another six openings. They're only accepting the patients as they have staff, so you can be sure that they're going to get really good care. It is new and very clean. The staff members are very well trained. They are excellent. The staff was very professional and well-informed. The facility was very well equipped, very safe, very light, airy, and just clean. It was really good. They do have a lovely patio, courtyard area, and a jacuzzi tub inside for the patients to use.

I'm going to go to Pacific Springs Village. I like it because it isn't real big and the rooms felt good. They do laundry, there's three meals a day, and transportation. They have a beauty parlor, a library, and a chapel. The cookies I had were excellent. It's a relatively new facility.
