There are many places to choose for a loved one to live in their senior years, especially now when new construction seems to be everywhere. Garden Villas is a smaller community, with a very caring and attentive staff, which is so important to our family. The staff would do anything for anyone and help out whenever needed, for residents, and other employees if the need were to arise. One of my mother's favorites is a Maintenance Man who even jumps in happily on occasion to help cook breakfast. His specialty is his 'Eggs in a Basket'. The residents I've seen him serve, are thrilled and say it's a favorite. They think he's great and really love him. The staff are talented in many ways and really show how much they enjoy sharing their skills in their mannerisms. It's just a happy atmosphere and we love to visit. We watch how the staff react with the residents and are so happy we chose a place where no matter the situation, we know our mother is in good, caring hands and loves the people around her. She's made close, special friends with both staff and residents and looks forward to attending the meals in the dining room, the variety of activities and especially the frequent outings with them. My siblings and I see the kindness which makes us relieved we chose Garden Villas. Visit and you'll see, it's the happy people, the residents and staff who together make Garden Villas special.

I toured the Garden Villas. It was clean and the people were nice. It was smaller. They have typical games, exercises, and cards. They took them to the doctor and the grocery store.

No staff. Takes over 1 1/2 hrs to get breakfast. Dinner sometimes longer, Great core staff but they are stretched so this maintenance is cooking breakfast! Suppose to be assisted living. More like your on your own. Stop adding residents if you can’t take care of who you have. When the chef is there he is wonderful. But has no one to help or wait tables.. Go buffet if you must but get people fed. Suppose to be a restful place but everyone is stretched too thin! Delmar needs to get them some help. Stop blaming COVID the excuse is old Fix It

I went to Garden Villas and we had a great interview and tour. They offered to hold a space for my dad for a month so I could make up my mind without charging, so that worked out well. Everyone seemed very friendly and said hello and just seemed like a good place to go. We visited everything that we thought was appropriate like the dining area, rooms, and physical therapy room.

My mom was a resident at Garden Villas. Overall, the place and the rooms were good. I would recommend it.
