The moment my husband and I walked in the front door and this was on weekend very clean smelling staff members all very pleasant, the person that does the tours was not there but a lady from recreation said she would take us around, residence were happy, clean, I even walked up to some of them to see if they were sitting in pee or poop smelled nothing. The building is a little outdated but to us the care is more important . We did move mom here and it has been great we been here about three weeks and all the employees already seem like family. The food is fantastic never seen mom eat so much. We have enjoyed the bird houses, deer, wild turkeys. Even the dog that was brought in made mom smile. The rooms are larger than other homes very clean and kept clean. They have crafts bingo art movies games. My mom is very happy here I don’t hear her say I want to go home. Excellent care

my husband was transferred to rosewood from MO Baptist...we were unable to see him because they said he was in quanantine; we had to go around the building to look in the window; first time there was soiled bed clothing; everytime we tried to see him the curtains were closed; last time we requested the curtains be opened; he was sitting in a wheel chair naked in the dark; had not been feed all day; that evening he was transferred back to Mercy hospital having a heart attack; he eventually died to inadequate care at MO Bap and this so called nursing home that should be closed

Pretty disappointing experience thus far. I’ll start with the positives. Most staff is fairly proactive and caring. Some of the nurses are superstars and do a great job. Now for the negatives. We weren’t expecting a palace for a nursing home but this facility is outdated. Amenities are minimal and the structure is starting to show its age. There aren’t many places to take your loved one outside because of lack of sidewalks. The only outdoor space meant as a social area is nasty. Trashed with cigarette butts, unused hardware and other refuse that is not only an eyesore but a hazard. Here’s another MAJOR issue: we're having trouble being able to call to the room directly to check in on grandma because of either incompetent management or understaffing. Many times (especially in the early evening) we call and we are put on indefinite hold waiting for someone to transfer the call. It never happens. Either that or we are hung up on. Unacceptable. Train your staff on how to direct calls. This isn’t rocket science. First week my grandmother was there, her leg was cut so bad it requires stitches at the ER. No one knows why, or how it happened. This is a for-profit facility and I would like for them to get their act together to cover the basics; provide a safe place for their residents, allow for easy telephone access to residents' rooms, clean up forgotten areas and begin updating their facilities. I will update this review regularly and will add or remove stars as necessary so folks can get a good idea whether or not this facility is adequate for their loved ones.

my mom was a resident here 2017-2018, most of the floor staff was pleasant, they had a great unit manager, although upper management is absolutely horrible, cold hearted, nasty attitude, uncaring, if we were not an active family involved with her daily care, she would have not received proper care, you have to make a fuss in order to receive good care, the director of nursing and his assistant are the most cold natureh ealthcare workers that we have ever met. I would not place a reptile in this facility, I understand the management and admin has recently changed, and it is absolutely terrible. please do not place your loved one into this place, it is sca

I went to visit Rosewood for my mom and, for a tour, I just love it. The facility seemed very nice. It did not smell at all anywhere like a nursing home. Rosewood was a good nursing home more so than where she is now. I was also impressed with the fact that every bed is certified for Medicaid, so that one was on my list. Their rooms also were nice and it was clean. Without knowing what it's like to live there, I would still give it a high rating.

No comment - it was for hospice care and they did what they were supposed to do.
