I toured Gran Villas Neosho for my dad. The rooms were bigger than the ones we saw in another community. The beds were bigger, too, and they had a kitchenette in the room should he decide to make something. I like the staff. They were very helpful and very caring. One of the things I didn't like about it, though, was that it seemed older than some of the other ones. It wouldn't hurt to update a bit. They offer three meals a day, snacks, and transportation. They assist with baths, medications, and pretty much help the residents do everything they need. They had a lot of activities like Bingo, church on Sundays, and just different things like that. The staff is very welcoming and very informative. They took us on a tour and showed us all around. They showed us a vacant room and what they would look like should he decide to move in. They also answered a lot of questions.

Gran Villas Neosho was a large community. Everything looked old. It was not cheery and bright, either. My mother didn't want to stay there. The room they put her in was drab, with old stuff and an old television that could only get one channel. The paint was a dark color, and nothing was bright or cheery. The people were nice and friendly. My mother was just there for one day because it was not a fit. She didn't like the food. She said for supper they served her something that was gray and slimy. She was upset when I went to pick her up. I was disappointed with that too. They also need to update some of their furnishing and make it more cheery and inviting.
