My mother went to Timberlake Care Center for respite care. It seems like a very pleasant place, and she seems to enjoy it. She has just been there five days now. The staff was very courteous, very kind, and very caring as far as I could see. She seemed to be happy when we when we left her there, so we were satisfied. She has a private room, and it's very nice. It's a very nice and very well kept facility. The short time that I was there, it seemed like a very pleasant atmosphere. It's a very clean place.

1. Rooms are filthy and nasty, dirty carpet, trash not changed daily, rain comes into the window. 2. From July 14th through August 23rd, there has been no air conditioning in the facility and patients are tremendously miserable due to the heat. 3. Slop is served as meals for food. They are serving powdered eggs and watered down apple, orange juice. 4. No hand sanitizers in patients' rooms 5. They do not adhere to patients' dietary needs; i.e. one that is diabetic and is not suppose to have reg white sugar; they run out of diet sugar over the weekend and have to wait until another truck brings in what they are out of; in fact, they run out of all dairy products over the weekend. 6. While raining, rain pouring in through the window making window sill soaked. 7. Patients are not cleaned accordingly and sometimes when ringing for a nurse it takes 2-3 hours for a patient to be tended to. 8. Even after filing a grievance to the administrator, nothing has been done in over 30 days. 9. Breakfast consists of 1 egg and a slice of cake. 10. Doctors and/or medical assists are not following up with patients' care. 11. The only amenity is a patio on the side where patients and employees can go and smoke cigarettes. 12. Interactions with the staff are poor because they give poor care to the patient, which is not acceptable in my book.

Timberlake’s food is a little bit better, but they have cockroaches right across the floor. I mentioned that, and they said, you don’t charge for freebies. The grounds were pretty, with a bigger facility and a lot more people. The ceiling is leaking, and it leaks over him when he sat there watching TV. I think it’s the air conditioning unit that’s causing the leak, but they don’t care. It smells like urine constantly. It never smelled good at all.

My son was recently diagnosed with severe Cerebal dysfunction. After a month on life support he was transferred to an inner-city facility. While the inner-city facility made every effort to assist my son in his recovery, I recognized he needed more personalized attention. Timberlake Care Center was suggested. My son in state of confusion was extremely reluctant with this transition. With much encouragement and prodding, he finally agreed to give it a chance. The staff welcomed him with open arms and every effort was made to make him feel at home. I could not have asked or prayed for a better place to place him. Five stars to Timberlake Care Center and the staff. There has been a complete transformation in my son. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who is apprehensive about placing a family member in extended care. Cheers to Timberlake and the staff. You guys are doing a FABULOUS job!!!!

Our dad has been at Timberlake for just over 6 months. Everyone there is very kind to him, he gets good care & good meals. They have a variety of activities he can choose to attend. If we encounter any problems, just a phone call to them is all it takes. It is a very clean facility, and not overly crowded. We would highly recommend it to anyone needing long term or rehab care.

Overall, it was a fairly nice facility. The residents had options to attend a variety of activities on a regular basis (bingo, etc.) The staff was mostly kind although a few members of the staff seemed under-qualified for their position, or were perhaps just lethargic or unmotivated. I had the chance to eat a few meals in their dining area. The food was always prepared well, and was usually very good, but the choices of what to eat were limited. The facility as a whole seemed fairly clean with a large amount of natural light entering in through multiple windows. In the main lobby area they have a large aquarium containing beautifully colored fish. On the opposite side of the lobby, a large indoor bird cage with a plexi-glass window. I would recommend this facility for someone who is thinking about entering their loved ones into a home, although it may not allow as much freedom as other communities.

Timberlake Care Center was a wonderful facility for my grandmother! They had many wonderful activities for my grandmother to participate in. The employees, for the most part, were very good and were very compassionate to my grandmother. Although there were a few employees who weren't very interested in their jobs, most of them were top notch. The business office has and continues to work with me on my grandmother's finances. It is very difficult to find a business like that! The women in the therapy department were so kind and encouraging to my grandmother. The food is wonderful! Overall, I would say the quality of life that a resident would receive at Timberlake Care Center would be top notch! My one and only complaint would be that it is a little out of date. But Timberlake Care Center is privately owned, so it has a warm touch that other facilities do not even come close in comparing to. I would recommend Timberlake Care Center to any of my friends' family memebers.

They did seem to take care of the people well. My grandmother was always clean and well fed. They didn't seem overly crowded. The staff seemed pleasant and one time when we had an issue, it was addressed quickly and professionally.
