I have been in Corner Brook for about six weeks. I am satisfied with this place. The staff has treated me well. I share a room in a two-bedroom place. There is enough space. I like how things are going in here. They have bingo, musicals, and outings. They take people to parties, to movies, and to go shopping

Brook Chateau was not a good fit for my brother. He wanted to be in his own home setting and be more settled in his own home. There was a bit of a breakdown in communication, but overall the staff was good. At any rate, there were some individuals who were very good at what they do, and some who did not communicate very well with the residents. Overall, the amenities were good. They need to have more people to make sure that there were verbal reports prior to each shift. Overall, I think it would be helpful to bring in more quality workers that would be able to work with the team.

I have visited this facility often and have found it to be full of caring people! The building ma not be as new as some but the bottom line is the care a loved one receives and they do it very well.

This facility as of 12-15-2013 has been bed bug infested 3 times in the last 6 months. The patients have bites all of their bodies! There are still bags of personal items that are in a large container that has never been given back to the patients from the 2nd out break of bed bugs Aug. 2013.

My brother-in-law just moved in at Corner Brook Place. We chose it because it was the only facility in the area that accepted his need for a wheelchair access on the first floor. The place was decent. The people who worked there were courteous. I would recommend this place to others.

The facility was recommended by a health manager. The place should be a bit more organized. The place is ok but I might not recommend it to someone else.
