My mother has been at DGOTG for a month. My family and I are very satisfied with the care that she is receiving during her stay. The staff is friendly and attentive to my mother's needs. Many have taken the time to develop a relationship with her. This is such a comfort when we cannot be with her, knowing that she has familiar faces checking in on her and assisting her when we cannot. From CNAs to maintenance, we have had interactions with almost everyone and it is ALWAYS pleasant. DGOTG took all the worry out of a difficult decision and my family will be forever grateful!

Talked with resident this evening and he wasn't able to reach his call button. I called to ask if someone could please go to his room - it took 30 minutes for someone to answer. When visiting - his restroom smells like urine and my shoes actually stick to the floor. When anyone complains they take it out on the resident and handle him in a rough manner. When resident (completely disabled) calls for help it takes a very long time for anyone to respond. He has been left sitting in fecal diapers for long periods of time while staff are sitting at the nurse's station chatting among themselves. This is totally unacceptable.

I'm happy with the services that Delmar Gardens on the Green provides. The staff seems professional, friendly, and caring. My mom is also happy when she interacts with them. They treat her with respect, which is important to me, and they listen to her. For what she needs, it's a convenient location to where I live. The food is excellent. It looks very appetizing. She said that they're always bringing food to her. My mom is in a shared room with one other person. It's not huge but she has a view of the outside. She can sit up on the bed/wheelchair and watch TV or look out the window. It's just adequate for a nursing care facility and they seem to be keeping it up very well. They have a daily list of activities that are provided to the residents. They have plenty of things to do.

We went to see Delmar Gardens on the Green last Thursday. It's a nursing home and they were very friendly. My mother-in-law doesn't walk very far so they got her a wheelchair so she can be pushed around. She has COPD so every 10 steps get her winded and it would have been a long tour had we not had them. They were very accommodating and answered all the questions she had, even if it wasn't a great question. It seemed very clean and the people seemed very well taken care of. When we left, she said that she could see herself there, but she's not quite ready for a nursing home yet. We got this referral from Humana and we thought it was also an assisted living and somewhere you can transition into a nursing home, but apparently, they don't have the assisted living portion of it. My mother-in-law was kind of disappointed because it wasn't what she thought it was but that's not their fault. It's very beautiful when we pulled up so the outside was very well-maintained. Sometimes that can be deceiving but this place was very clean and organized inside too. The person at the front was efficient and friendly. They weren't quite prepared for our tour, even though we had an appointment, but they were quick to find someone. They took our temperatures and asked us if we had been vaccinated. We had masks on and all that good stuff.

My mother in law left the hospital and was not doing anything but laying in bed; within one week Delmar on the Green, she is dressed and at least moving a little on her own. Very clean and the food is great for her. Highly recommend.

Stay away. Left my 93 yr old WWII VET sitting in his bed choking on lung fluids. I had to beg for doc call and help. Jill was great but weekend nurse should quit!!!!! Ended at ER with pneumonia. Horrible experience and only there less than 24 hrs.

I was at Delmar Gardens On the Green. It was terrible. Cleanliness was OK. Some of the help were extremely rude, though. They were very laxed on distributing meds. I had a diabetic roommate. They gave her her insulin shot, and forgot to give her dinner. That’s very wrong. Food was served in my room. It wasn’t outstanding.

I went to Delmar Gardens On The Green. We looked more on their nursing facility father than their apartments because we were trying to determine if that is a good place for my sister. We were impressed by the sizes of the rooms and the staff. They were very helpful. The place was clean, bright, and cheerful. Their food is very good. They do have different activities like games, musicals, and transportation out of the campus.

Avoid this place! There are untrained "aides" that don't know how to administer medications or treatments. IF THEY ARE GIVEN AT ALL! Several aides don't understand or speak english clearly. My relative got worse there as soon as admittance. We have experienced other nursing homes and this is the worst we have seen! It is the classic nursing home with residents littered about the hallway slumped over, moans and groans coming from the rooms and alarm bells going off that are just ignored. If you put someone in Delmar Gardens Clayton on the Greens, you better be prepared to visit several times a day to check up or correct their so called "nursing care".

Delmar Gardens On The Green was an okay facility. Their rooms were a little smaller but it was nice. The staff members that I met were the receptionist and the woman who toured me and both were very nice. When you walk into the reception area and the dining room area, it smelled fine; however, as soon as you go down the hallways and through the nursing home part, it smelled like a nursing home.

The staff was very kind and helpful to my grandmother. She was fairly health when she was initially put into the facility, but her health quickly declined. She remained stagnant for several years. Finally, we decided to put her in hospice and she died shortly after. The home was very helpful with all of her arrangements and provided all the services we needed. In her period of good health, my grandmother enjoyed the activities and other individuals living in the home very much. They tried to coordinate events that all residents would like and for the most part were very successful. My only complaint would be the size of the facility. I thought it was a little too big and it was a little over crowded. There were always people sitting in the hallway and sometimes it took a long time for someone to respond to her need for help.
