I'm currently in The Legends at Silver Lake Village. It's well run. It doesn't have services, and it doesn't provide assistance, but it has a maintenance person on site. It's only eight hours a day and not 24 hours a day maintenance. It's clean and well run, I would say. They have some activities. They have bingo maybe once a month, they scheduled card games, and once a month, they have a birthday observance for people having a birthday that day and everybody is invited to come. One thing that I would like is kind of like a convenience store, well, they don't have that. They have some vending machines, but you can't go and pick up a quick meal or anything. You would have to go outside of the area. My apartment is quite spacious. It's got a patio with a walk-out to the courtyard, so I'm on the main floor. It's got the usual amenities like a shower. I have my own microwave, but they have a built-in microwave, too. I got a couple of large windows. Although they don't clean the windows, and that's one thing I'm a little curious about is do they expect senior citizens to get up on a ladder or a stool and clean these big windows? They have a beauty shop, they have a theater room where they will show movies, then there's a community room, then a card room, and then there's a fitness center. The staff are attentive.
