My in-laws live in Savage Senior Living at Fen Pointe. They have all the activities you could ever want. The facility itself is nice. It's pretty new. I don't think it's been there for less than eight years. I think it's run by Ebenezer. The apartments have a nice layout. They have a nice view out to the balcony. They've got a one-bedroom plus den with a nice bathroom and a nice-sized walk-in closet. I have no complaints about the apartment. The furnishings are a little dated, but they recently updated the paint colors and new lighting fixtures at the main entrance and along the hallways. It brightens things up. The paint they chose was nice. They get dinner from the dining room. That's the only meal they get right now. My in-laws haven't complained much about the food so they must like the food OK. When they first moved in, we went to dinner a couple of times and I thought the food was good. As far as the cost, it's about the same as the other two facilities I looked at. I have talked to Linda and the director of nursing and my interactions with them were great.

My mom moved into Savage Senior Living at Fen Pointe. It's a good place to go. They have very nice and updated apartments. Mom has a 1-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room. It is very nice, open, and bright. You walk in there and all the residents are so happy to be there. The care is right there. You don't have to wait for anything. The staff seems very compassionate, knows what they're talking about, and goes out of their way to help people. Their employees have been there since they opened eight years ago, and they all love it. Things that are happening there are just amazing. All the residents are out sitting, chatting, talking, and doing activities. They have a theater and crafting, and they also have different classes they can take, like baking classes. From everywhere I've been, it's the best I've seen.

The location of Savage Senior Living at Fen Pointe was great. The overall appearance of the place was good. Just that the communication from the staff wasn't clear on the availability of the unit and their process wasn't really clear. Other than that, it appeared very clean and well-kept. It's a newer building.

My dad is in Cherrywood Pointe. It is located in a beautiful wetland or marsh that they can't build on, so it's always going to have a nature preserve behind it. It's 45 minutes from where I live. The staff has been very kind, friendly, and very attentive. They have several activities every day. They have studios, one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms, and studios.

Cherrywood Pointe of Savage is very good and brand new. It's perfect and I would've definitely taken it, but they didn't have what we needed. The staff was very professional and very informative. The apartments were clean and well made with a nice cabinet. I was impressed with the nearness of the location and the convenience factor.
