My father-in-law is in Lyngblomsten Care Center. It's been very good. They are good communicators. The facilities are very neat and clean, and the people are friendly. The staff members have been very kind. My father-in-law tells us about the people he sees each day, and he's been very happy with that. His biggest concern is that after dinner sometimes he has to stay in the dining room too long. The overall condition of the place is very clean, and it smells neat. It's inviting. I've been in the dining room while my father-in-law is eating, and it looks very appetizing. He's been happy with his food. They have a good variety, and they have plenty of food, so the food seems good.

My mother spent time here not the worst she stayed at…but close. Non caring foreign speaking staff most indifferent. The administration same disinterest. Money sure buys decent care today! Sad.

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!!!! if I could give this place zero stars i would, I chose this place for my mother as a TCU facility so she could get stronger and get her mobility back. she was here for a day and a half. first red flag as soon as I walked into the room it was disgustingly hot (it was 85 degrees outside this day) and as stated from one of the nurses "its against state law to turn the heat off" there's no such law. my mother requested female nurses and was told "no there's no females nurses." she waited two hours to be hooked up to her feeding tube and for anyone to check in on my mother aside from the 5 minutes of intake paperwork. as well as her food and medications spewed all over my mother. when cleaning my mother not a single person wiped her down at all so a rash quickly started on her behind. I came to visit my mother the final day she was here she was sobbing from the mistreatment shes received in the small amount of time. my mother wanted to leave so badly so the family quickly packed all of her belongings up and brought her home. Once she arrived home I took 45 minutes to an hour cleaning my mother up as her feeding tube was completely clogged up and wasn't getting proper flushes as she needed. as well as many more issues and signs of mistreatment. per quote my mother "these nurses and nurse aids all graduated at the bottom of their class as they had no clue of what they were doing" as well as no one spoke fluent english.

Staff = ok some nurses have a not my job attitude, can be short on aides. = Set in their ways, their schedule not yours. Social worker = ok, Food = Ok if you have a special diet watch them carefully! Administration = ok Note: OT & PT out- sourced company = Not Lyngblomstens = They need to take more interest. OT = ok Facility is good lots of remodeling. PT = not friendly more like Physical exercise not Therapy would not recomend for PT. Have observed 3 other PT areas, who evaluate set a a program, and establish goals for their patients. They also ask what the patient needs to be doing before going home. They do not! This one' same exercises everyday. No progress as same daily routine. No evidence of caring. Seeing Lyngblomsten is Church sponsered you would think they would moniter a company they are paying better! Just a Thought.

I haven’t been onsite as I live on the East Coast but I decided to send my mom here based on reviews and its ratings from multi sources. My mom has been here for 8 months and she has never been healthier or in better spirits. She was could barely walk, was very sick, frail and depressed before Lyngblomsten and we didn’t know if she would make it for much longer. Since she’s been here, she’s mobile and had blossomed. When I speak to her, all she does is rave about how loving the staff is. I’ve had many conversations with the social worker, the head nurse, the floor nurses, certain office members and everyone has been responsive and simply amazing. Lyngblomsten has given my mother a new lease on life and has given me peace of mind. I can’t stay enough good things about this nursing home. Thank you for everything, Lyngblomsten!

Don't go there if you have a special diet, the kitchen can't handle it The food is good, nursing care is decent, but OT, PT and Social Workers are not very friendly! They didnt know how to handle my care since it was unique. They deal with falls, broken bones etc, not heart failure.

Lyngblomsten Care Center was right at the lake and it was great because it was like apartments. The rooms were a bit smaller than the other place I visited but the view was more beautiful. They were also more expensive. It would be better if they could update the facility like the lights and decorations since it was a little old-fashioned.
