The memory care was new when my dad was there. The head nurse had no clue how to work with and care for dementia patients, ask her a question she would cry or hide very unprofessional. It was clear she never worked with dementia patients and her last job we found out she was fired. Also they called us all the time due to my father wondering ,trying to open windows { who has a dementia ward with windows that open on the 4th floor?) Clearly do not know what a memory unit is. All the staff needed training not there fault lack of leadership. DO NOT PUT ANYONE IN THIS MEMORY CARE UNIT THEY ARE NOT QUILIFYED .

The Sanctuary at St. Cloud was excellent. They have beautiful rooms. It's a new building. I'm extremely pleased. They only have assisted living and memory care, and I'm amazed that a memory care place can be as lovely as that. The people really know their business and give you the information that you need. The service provided is wonderful. They can choose their meals so not everybody is eating the same thing. They have two dining rooms, so they don't have a large crowd of people in one. They have a very fine activities director, she is full of life, and she has volunteers who assist her. The staff is excellent, and they have nurses and CNAs, so the care seems very fine. My sister likes it very much. It's beautiful and very appropriate. I have no complaints.
