My relative has been a resident of Cherrywood St. Cloud. There are no in room temperature controls which makes it impossible to be physically comfortable. Staff is young and the turnover rate is excessive. Many times they are disrespectful to the residents. There are no activities for the residents. There are left sitting in wheelchairs all day. The community offers no amenities, residents have to ask for help if they need it. Call buttons are rarely answered in a timely fashion. The resident may wait for an hour or longer for assistance. Do not be fooled by this place. Management are owners and their priority is accumulating residents with high care needs to produce more revenue. Their focus is not in teh best interest of the resident.

We found Cherrywood for my mom. I like the residential location. I like the caring staff. There is an effort for the residents to get to know each other, I like that too. My mom is well taken care of and likes the people. She says the food is good. She has been there since January. Regarding activities, that is something that needs to be addressed. There are not enough activities. They have bingo and an exercise class. They need to have daily activities for the residents to take part in. As for security and safety, it is excellent.
