I have lived at Broadway Village for 15 years. I have a 2 BR walkout apartment. The setting is the nicest I've ever seen for apartments -- very park-like, shady, a lot of lawn, people on ground floor can plant anything around their patio, plus they have a large veggie garden, indoor and outdoor pools, community room, many activities, shuttle bus to grocery stores and errand bus. There are 3 floors in each of 10 buildings. Large closets. No elevators, so I would not want to live on the third floor -- I'm too old for that. 2 BR apartments have 2 AC's, some have 2 baths. Staff is very good and friendly. Buildings went up in the 1960's and are well-kept. Garages available also. Barber, beauty shop and bakery are right next door. On bus line. Activity calendar goes out every month, and weekly activities notices are put on each door on Sunday for the coming week. It has everything you would want. I'm not moving. I like it here.

I chose Broadway Village because they offered me a two-bedroom for less than the price I was paying for my one-bedroom currently. I also chose it because it had better amenities than my current location. They have an indoor pool and better activities. They have a very large community room with a full kitchen. They also have two to three daily activities for residents. They have a coffee shop on site for free coffee. It's 10 separate buildings with eight apartments per floor. It's an older community. They have a lot of land with beautiful landscaping. It's very centrally located next to shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. Megan was very helpful. She answered all my questions. She showed me several options at that location.

Broadway Village has apartments. They have a garden for those residents who like to plant flowers and stuff. The girl that toured me was polite and nice. She was quite good and answered all my questions and everything.

There are no elevators. When your "lived ones need emergency transportation they cannot be transported properly. 3 stories all stairs. No ramps in entrance of complex. This is not a soley a 55 and over facility. They must house a percentage of families by law. They are owned by Broadway Summit; which includes investors outside of Minnesota. I saw elderly living with severe black mold. I would never send my loved ones to Broadway Village.
