We toured Kingsley Shores Senior Living because we know somebody who lives there. They have a meal plan. You get eight meals with your rent, but other than that, you could pay for more if you wanted to. We like everything about it. We looked at a two-bedroom, a one-bedroom, and a two-bedroom with a den. They all had a lot of space. The kitchens were nice. The space would have been more than adequate for us. It would have forced us to get rid of things, but every time you move, you need to get rid of things anyway. We were pleased. We didn't eat there, but a friend of ours who lives there likes it very, very much. The staff who assisted us were very professional. We also met with their recreation director and they're both very pleasant people, and answered whatever questions we had. The rooms we saw weren't all empty, but nobody was living there, so they were very clean and they were repainting, and cleaning the carpets. It was generally really clean. Every place we went, there was no trash lying around or things like that. They have activities. There were posted activities that were going on. They had a shuttle and one of the things was to go someplace shopping. There was a place where groups would meet, and there was a lady's group doing something when we were there. So those all looked good to me.

I toured Kingsley Shores Senior Living Apartments. Amy was helpful and good at communicating. The facility was very nice. It was updated as far as the decor and design. My dad had a walker, and they used a wheelchair. It was very easy to maneuver through and it was well laid out.

I had an in-person tour of Kingsley Shores Senior Living. There was a restaurant. The dining area was fine. The people we met were fine. There was a lot of interaction with the director and all of the residents. The facility was clean and well-run. They have a salon, an exercise room, and a swimming pool. The facility is about ten or 12 years old, and the units showed some aging. The staff was very professional. We ate lunch there, and it was excellent.

My mother is in Kingsley Shores Senior Living. They're good. It's a great place for her. She's happy. It's clean. There are a lot of residents there. The food is good. She likes everything there. It's top-notch. She's in independent living with housekeeping. She enjoys her studio apartment. She likes the meal plan. She likes the activities. She's got a great room overlooking a lake. She likes it a lot. She hasn't complained. They also have a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom. They have bingo, card nights, and movie nights. They have a beauty salon, a fitness center, and nice walkways. It's got everything she needs.

I will be moving into the independent living portion at Kingsley Shores Senior Community, but within the complex it had assisted living and memory care as well. It's been a very positive experience. Where I'm gonna be moving to is not finished yet. The original building is about seven years old, and the new building is going to be an independent living facility that is connected by a sky arch. They have other amenities in the building. I will be getting eight meals a month, and they also have a heated pool and other benefits there as well. I have a good friend that is moving in there. He's already in the old portion, and then they'll move him over to the new portion when it's completed. I've only had one contact and that's with the general manager there, and it's been very helpful and beneficial.

My husband and I are currently at Kingsley Shores. The care, the food, and most of the staff members are very good. The safety is very good as well. I like our apartment. It's kept clean, and it's big enough for the both of us. It's just too expensive. Because of the virus there aren't any activities going on. I have no negatives about the whole place. It's well maintained.

Kingsley Shores was very nice. I did not really see any of the people there. We just had a quick tour since they did not have time for a longer tour. There was a mix up with the time that we were scheduled to come, so there was not really anybody to take us around. It was new. I liked it. It was smaller. They had a memory care unit.

My dad is in Kingsley Shores. We are doing OK so far, but unfortunately we didn’t realize they have staffing issues. They are low on staff, and they don’t have a full time nursing director. There were some medication mix-ups that we were not happy about. The whole place is very new, the room is very beautiful and large, and my dad is very happy with that. They have an activity calendar, but they don’t have a full time activities person, and the assistants haven’t been running the activities that they’re supposed to be running. He is bored on the weekends. We liked the location because it was close to where his house was, and it was on a wooded lot away from the city.

We choose Kingsley Shores for my mother because it has fantastic facilities. They have very great staff. They are friendly and helpful. They meet all our needs. They are great to work with. My mother is in memory care because she has the onset of dementia. They keep busy with activities. She has three meals a day. They have a great program. Other than they have a great atmosphere and great staff there, they are very caring people and they are willing to work with you.

One other place that I did like is Kingsley Shores Senior Living. However, they didn't have storage space. I felt they had more cupboard space than closet space. The facility was very nice, the people were very nice and all that, but in order to get the things that I wish to take with me, I have to have a bigger apartment. The closet space was not adequate. However, I did like the people and so forth.

Kingsley Shores is warm and inviting. The people at the front are welcoming. They were very cordial and helpful. They got me to who I needed to see, and they are very helpful. I would like to see them have CADI waivers for the facility because right now they don't have that. The reason I liked it is because it's in the metropolitan area, but yet it's in one of the suburbs kind of setup. It is not isolated, but it is surrounded by a lake and trees, and it is a very calming area. The facility is fairly new. It is only about a year old right now. The apartments are really nice and roomy. The nursing staff seemed really well trained and on top of it.
