My mom moved to Oak Terrace Senior Living of Jordan. They have been very attentive to her. They're making sure that she eats, making sure she gets out of bed and to the dining room with the other residents. They are very organized. They have their process. They keep us updated with what's going on with my mom. They set up the home care and do her therapy. They set up all her medications and her doctor visits. They did a good job and made it easy for us to transition her. As far as memory care, they're on the lower end, and that's pretty good value.

My mother is in Oak Terrace Senior Living Of Jordan. The care is very good. They have a whole lot of things, but her activities are shopping and cleaning the house. Whatever they can get her to do would be wonderful. They have her walking more, and we're very happy with that. Her room is kept very clean, it's spacious, they're in there all the time if she needs to have things more often, and they're right on top of things. She loves the food, and it's much better than hospital food. They have community rooms, family rooms, and all kinds of different areas that you can go and visit. From the tour I had last December, it was way more than I expected it to be. We've had no complaints. Everybody working there has been wonderful. I haven't run into anybody grumpy, and I've been there almost every day since January.

My mom is at Oak Terrace in Jordan. It’s wonderful. I love it. They have a few nurses and LPNs, but the people that they hire are really caring and are always trying to be better in what they do. You can tell that they really love the residents there and really take good care of them. It’s really homey, nice, and really well cared for. The food is getting better. They have somebody new cooking. The pricing is very fair and a lot less than the other ones.

Oak Terrace was pretty and nice, but the cost was really high at $4,000 a month. The apartments were very clean and new. The staff seemed really nice and friendly. When I walked in, I talked to the aides who were very helpful and nice. They showed me one of the apartments, but it was too big, and I don’t like that situation for her.

The staff at Oak Terrace was very friendly and very accommodating. We met someone on the way in and they highly recommended Oak Terrace to us, so we were pleasantly surprised and had a good experience. The only reason why I give it a four is because of the cost. They only accept 30 percent of county pay, and I think at some point it would be unaffordable. I don’t want to have to move our family member to another facility, so that was the only drawback, and it was really quiet. They had a lovely group of people playing cards and games, but I don’t think it would be a good fit for our person. If somebody is very intelligent and still has their faculties, it would be a great place. But if you’re a little confused, I think it would be too much quiet time. It was laid back and quiet but nice, and we talked to people who were living there who were very nice. This place was beautiful.

I visited Oak Terrace Senior Living about month ago with my grandfather. We have been looking at several different facilities to provide care for my grandmother who is suffering from both Alzheimer's and mini-strokes. We have looked at several different homes over the past year. Oak Terrace Senior Living is a home that has recently opened in my community. We did not have an appointment for a tour, we decided to tour it on the spur of the moment. The staff was happy and helpful and ready to give us a tour right away. We immediately liked the size of the facility, it felt small and home-like. Although smaller than many facilities we had toured previously, it offered the same amenities. I really liked the country setting. The facility also offers underground parking which I'm sure will be nice when we visit my grandmother, especially during winters in Minnesota. We were most interested in touring the memory care unit of the facility, as that is where my grandmother will be staying. The rooms were large and spacious, even the shared rooms. Each room has its own bathroom, with shower and bathing facilities also offered for those who need assistance. All of the meals are prepared on-site. This was important to me, because I want to make sure my grandmother receives healthy, tasty and nutritious meals. The nursing staff was on hand to answer all of our questions. I noticed all of the current residents spent a lot of time in the main area of the memory care unit, watching television and enjoying a secure walking path. I feel good about trusting this facility to provide my grandmother with the care she needs.
